Q: Which of these filter eliminate microplasctics as well as other contaminents? What size pitcher is for 2 people?? And matches the filter? I will order.
A: Thank you for reaching out, and we're glad to assist you. Although our Advanced Filter reduces chlorine, copper, cadmium, and mercury, it doesn't eliminate microplastics. We recommend our Elite pour-through filters and Faucet Mount filters, which are certified to reduce 99% of microplastics. The amount of water your household consumes would determine the pitcher size you'd need. If you have any further inquiries, kindly contact us at 800-242-7482 with reference number 230626-000591. We're excited to hear from you. Alexandrea from The Brita Team.

Q: Does the newer filters fit in my old pitcher? When I put the water in the top it runs right through to the bottom - it does not hesitate the way it did with the older filters. Is it filtering?
A: Yes it fits place the filter in a large drinking glass filled with water for about five minutes and you put it in the picture turn it slightly to the right or the left and I guarantee it will fit and work
submitted bybob sun city az - 8 years agoA: The new filters are improved so they are much quicker at filtering the water, but yes they are filtering.
submitted byGuest - 7 years agoA: If your dispenser or pitcher is an older model, and you see any space around the edge of the filter when it's fully "seated," then it may not be filtering correctly. I ended up buying a new dispenser because I didn't trust that the water was being filtered after the filters changed to their current design. I contacted the company and they were no help--just told me to line up the groove to the filter, but the entire filter was popping out of place (I'd see it floating minutes after I filled up), so I'd say the new filter design is no longer compatible with older dispensers. After getting a new dispenser, I can see a big difference in the way the filter creates a seal. I think the company should stop saying that the filters are compatible with all filters and dispensers.

Q: Will these seat properly -- wait for it -- in a Target "Up&Up" pitcher?
A: Hi there, John. Our filters are designed to fit in all of our Brita pitchers, except the Stream. We hope this information is helpful. Jess from the Brita team
submitted byBrita - 7 years agoBrand expertA: Yes. I have an Up & Up 7 cup pitcher that I purchased 3/2020. I just purchased the 4 pack of Brita filters today 5/2020, They fit better than the Up & Up in my opinion and are a lot easier to remove. You just push the filter firmly down into the hole and it's a very snug fit.

Q: The new filter I fix is still showing red. Is there any thing I need to do after putting the new filter? Thank you
A: Thanks for letting us know. We're sorry to hear the indicator of your Brita Pitcher isn't resetting properly, and we'd like to share a few tips to help. If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. Release the button when the light flashes three times. If the indicator light still isn’t working, please connect with us directly at 800-242-7482 and mention reference number 241024-000534. We hope this helps. Monique from The Brita Team
