There isn't a light but there is a date/calendar on top that can be set to a date on the future when the filter needs to be changed. The filter lasts for 40 gallons, so depending on how much water you use it will last between 2-3 months. Thanks again!

Small pitcher that doesnt filter completely to 7 cups.
Super small and wouldn’t say it’s a 7 cup pitcher because it stop filtering about halfway through and the rest of the water sits in the top. Would NOT purchase again.

Not Your Average Pitcher
I love this pitcher. I bought mine 4 years ago and it still going strong. Sure, we have to refill it multiple times a day but that’s because my husband and I drink a lot of water. We like Up & Up’s filters better than Brita or PUR plus they’re more affordable. I’m glad Target offers the option to order in case we need a new one - our store constantly sells out/I was terrified thinking maybe Target stopped making these. Turns out I am happily incorrect. Ditch your Brita or PUR pitcher when it’s time to replace it and get Target’s brand - it’s worth it!!

I would say overall I am happy with this one. It took me two separate times to get one not cracked, but when I finally got a good one, it's used and refilled multiple times a day. We leave it on the counter and it's fine. This was bought as a replacement for the build in one in the fridge as the other was hard to use and the replacement filters were way to expensive.

First one came with broken lid near the spout. They quickly sent a replacement and the handle was broken and cracked. The boxes they were shipped to me in had no damage but the inner packaging showed obvious damage on both. They shouldn’t be shipping these out.

My wife and I have made repeated purchases of this pitcher. Given that we have hard water, we tend to replace the entire pitcher every year. With that in mind, the pitcher works better than others and at a lower price. The filters are often cheaper as well and the seven-cup capcity suits us just fine. Overall five stars for us. We had the next size up for one year, but the pitcher was just too heavy for us.
