Maybe it was just a faulty one but my battery didn’t work / the light doesn’t turn on. I personally could taste a difference in the tap water vs the filtered tap water and it does filter quickly. Idk. It just is middle of the road for me.

Great pitcher with fast easy filtration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t tend to be picky with the types of water I drink. I will drink bottled, refrigerator, and tap water daily and while I can taste a difference, I’m not sensitive to it and it doesn’t really bother me to go between them. This pitcher is advertised to reduce 2x the chemicals and substances than competition pitchers, have faster filtration, and reduce the chlorine taste. The pitcher itself is awesome. It looks nice with the clear, blue, and white pieces. It is sturdy and durable plastic, a tight and secure lid and pieces, and dishwasher safe! The filter light on top to tell you when to replace the filter and the easy fill hole are added benefits! The filter came packaged independently and needed to be rinsed and then locked into the top half of the pitcher before use. I cleaned the pitcher and rinsed the filter for as long as the instructions told me, however, the water still had a bit of a plastic/carbon flavor after being filtered for the first couple times we have used it. I am hopeful that this gets better with use! The filter itself is as fast as claimed and was already putting filtered water into the bottom of the pitcher as I was filling the top from our sink! I am most excited about using this pitcher to filter my water to go into my coffee and espresso machines to give better tasting coffee and espresso and hopefully preserve my machines and avoid build-up over time!

Other than that, there is a lot of space for the system in the refrigerator which is very nice! The water tastes great as well! I've had a filtered water system before, but that one was pretty bulky , this one is not.

Unfortunately, mine showed up very damaged. The filter was smashed and the carbon beads were everywhere. The pitcher does look nice sized and I can attest there is plenty of filter in the inside of the filter! Just wish I could have actually tried it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving Pur 11 cup pitcher. It’s the perfect size for my family. So easy to use and perfectly fits in my refrigerator. Water tastes so fresh and clean. My whole family is enjoying Pur pitcher. I love the indicator on top which shows me when it’s time to replace the filter. This filtration system reduces chlorine and makes water taste great. It’s a lot more affordable than buying bottled water. The filter lasts up to 2 months and the lid stays on securely with lock fit. I highly recommend Pur pitcher to everyone!

I wanted a bigger pitcher than my Brita and the PUR pitcher was on sale. The drinking water in my new house had a foul taste, even from the refrigerator. I read that PUR filters more toxins out of the water than Brita, so I bought the PUR pitcher. I like the pitcher, and the colored light to signify when to change the filter is more accurate than Brita filters. However, the filters are very difficult to change and when I did an online search it seems as though that is a common problem. It took quite a bit of fidgeting to finally get the old filter out of the pitcher. Also, Brita filters can be recycled through Tetracycle, but PUR doesn’t have that option.
