Q: Are you supposed to have to hold the lid and blue interior part on with your hand whenever you pour? It seems like a bad design as it tries to fall off if I don't hold it. No instructions included.

I liked the shape and handle of the pitcher, but felt the plastic was cheap feeling. The filter needs to be replaced every two months which could be expensive for a lot of people. It was handy to have a sensor at the top which indicated when the filter would need replacing.

I love the convenient slim design with the stay-tight lid allowing me to easily put it in my refrigerator without it taking up too much space. I add my water conveniently into the top reservoir through the nicely spaced door opening. Then a small wait while trickles down through the 3-1 Filter into the bottom reservoir leaving me with 11 cups of Clean and safe drinking water. I love that this filter reduces microplastics, heavy metals among other things like industrial pollutants, pesticides, herbicides and pharmaceuticals and taste and odor from chlorine! I love the comfortable gripping handle on the side making it easy for me to lift and pour. The pour spout has a cover so it makes sure nothing enters into your water doubling down on keeping it safe. With convenient two months of use out of the filter before you have to change it good for 40 gallons of cleaner greater tasting water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. No visual defects to the filtration system and filter. I had to soak the filter 15 minutes before use and rinse. The filter was easy to install per use of the included directions. The water filtered very slowly. It approximately 15 minutes for the first round of water to disperse through the filter and into the pitcher. There were floating black specks in the water the first pass through the filter so I had to dump it out and refill the picture. The second round went slow and took about the same time. You have to be patient to get fresh filtered cleaner water with this picture. The filter replacements are comparable in price to other products similar to this one. I water does taste cleaner. You have to wait until all water is filtered through the filter and into the picture prior to dispensing the product or water pours out the top where you fill it up. I probably wouldn’t purchase this product because it takes a very long time to be able to use this.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the filter itself is the black charcoal (?) granules all over the top. I followed the instructions and let the filter soak (fully submerged in water) for 15 minutes, then rinsed it off for 10 seconds. I filled the water reservoir, and it took 35 minutes to filter one reservoir of water. I don’t have a whole lot of patience, so I didn’t fill the reservoir again. The water that I did filter got thrown out because my husband pointed out there were a few filter granules sitting on the bottom of the pitcher. I don’t think that is supposed to happen. The pitcher is lightweight, even when it has water in it, and the lid fits on it snugly. I love the pitcher, I’m just disappointed in how unbelievably slow it is filtering the water.
