The quality and taste of water that is produced by this water filter Is amazing. The decanter holds a large quantity of water. The only negative is the refill time is a little lengthy, but worth it.

The water tastes so much better than bottled or unfiltered water. I am happy to use my glass bottle filter. I have a problem with the design , though, as I could not fit my hand inside the opening to change the filter. I need to get someone else to help me. It would be preferable to easily fit my hand inside. .

Lifestraw Home 7 cup glass pitcher

I love the taste of the water from the glass pitcher. I live in a very old building in NYC so worry about contaminants from old pipes and I feel better about drinking the water now. One downside is that the filter is a little slow, but the instructions say it works faster after a few uses. So hopefully that’s true.

Really lovely carafe. Water seems very, very pure. You must be patient to have it filter through, but that's because the filter is doing its job. Makes you respect how precious pure water really is.

You'll Grow Old Waiting for the Water

Nice appearance. Water tastes okay. Problem is it takes about 45 minutes to filter 8-10 oz of water. At first I thought it was because the unit/filter was new, but after a week of watching the water s l o w l y drip from the filter I realized this was as fast as it was going to get. To get an entire pitcher full, plan on being nearby so you can refill the filter every 40 minutes or so.

I have filled 24 16 oz bottles of Zephyrhills water and life straw has already just dropping water at very low pace. At this pace of getting a bottle of water will be all night and cost a bundle for filters. I don’t know which filter would need replaced…the core filter or filter you screw in.

Noticed the difference in our water taste right away. Would have preferred Less plastic parts as I am concerned about micro plastics in my drinking water.

I have the Home 10-Cup pitcher filter, and a 24 oz Go Series filter that I carry with me prospecting. Both products are wonderful, and LifeStraw's customer service is exceptional.

Glass container good; Straw too many set up steps

I really like the glass container. The process was fairly easy to get it set up. The actual straw however has WAY too many steps before it can be used. It would be beneficial for the actual straw to have most of those steps handled BEFORE the client receives it.

Best Looking Water Pitcher & Works Great

Works well. Looks great. Doesn’t spill out water like the Epic pitcher. When completely full, feel like the glass handle might not be strong enough; so I support the base just in case. It’s too tall for our fridge; so we leave it on the counter which is fine.

I love that it’s glass for the pitcher, but there is still plastic throughout. The water does filter very slowly, but we are getting used to it. The only hang up is, there is still a sediment feel to our water. I thought this would make it taste great the way our Brondell did, but the water doesn’t seem much better than the tap. It’s making me consider getting a water testing kit to see what exactly we need to filter out, in case this isn’t cutting it.

Plastic be gone!

I like that it filters nano plastics, but I wish it had a bigger/faster filtering area. I had a brita pitcher & you fill it once & it is as full as it will get. The lifestraw must be refilled after each glass of water or it gets low, & it takes about 4 refills to get the water level to near the top.

I've been keeping this pitcher topped up, and am sure I'm drinking more water than I had been, which is good. I got the plastic pitcher for weight reasons, and am very happy with the strength of it, as well as the design, which makes ergonomic sense.

My initial awkwardness around setting it up and weekly cleaning is fading. I'm yet to deep clean with vinegar so can't report on how that affects the taste of the water.

My daughter really likes her new LIfestraw Filter. It's beautiful on her counter. She chose the Wisteria color. And, it removes harmful bacteria, chemicals, etc. The filter is somewhat slow to fill up, but she is quite pleased. We love that it is glass!!!
