Tastes delicious, but takes a while to fill

The water tastes delicious, better than the competition that I've tried. However, It takes a long time for the water to drop through and I have to fill up the reservoir a few times to fill up the actual pitcher.

    Not worth the money.

This looks super cute, but honestly, it's a pain. The filter takes a while to sift the water, which is fine, but you can't pour the filtered water out of the pitcher while the filter has water in it because it will come out of the top of the filter as well. So you either have to wait, or to take the filter off to pour water, which is a NIGHTMARE. It's so difficult to pull out, there are no tabs to help and it hurts my fingers to try to put up on the outer lip or pull it out. I've ended up just leaving the filter sitting on top of the glass to easily take it off, instead of pushing it down in, but it sinks in after a while and makes it difficult to pull out again, so I have to go over every couple of hours to pull it back out before it sinks in all the way. I might try to cut the suction strip off to make it easier. It also doesn't fill up completely, about halfway full in the pitcher, the filtered water stops filtering, so really it's about a 4-cup filter. I'm extremely disappointed as this was expensive, but the design is super flawed. Why would they not put a gasket to stop water from coming out of the top of the filter when you pour water, since it takes so long to filter? I want to return it, but I stupidly threw away the boxes. The water tastes great, and it's cute, but otherwise it needs a lot of work.

    My water now tastes good!

I so appreciate my Life Straw water pitcher. I live in Iowa, which is famous for its awful tasting water. I no longer have that problem! Thank you Life Straw!

This pitcher is too tall to fit on my refrigerator shelves and only awkwardly fits on the door

    What a rip-off!

Water refuses to flow quickly through the filter. I had to wait over 24 hours to get 4 cups of water.

    Excellent design and taste

This water filter pitcher is excellent. The taste is superb. The design and ease of using the pitcher is also a plus. So glad to know that part of my purchases go to help others get clean water.

    Great product

I recently bought a Life Straw pitcher/filter because a friend had one and recommended it highly, and I agree with his assessment! It's a great product, the instructions are clear and easy to follow and the water tastes terrific.

    Loved it while it Lasted

I was super excited for my glass Lifestraw. I have been battling mold allergies and parasites and filtered water was recommended by my doctors. I had my Lifestraw for one week when I hit it (lightly) on the corner of my cupboard and it shattered. I was so sad and frustrated that I spent the money for something that lasted such a short time.

    Flimsy carafe

In general we love it and the taste of water. Slow drip for sure like others say, but main issue is the glass carafe is very thin and ours broke within week. That being said, we did order a new one since we have the filters and we do like the idea of drinking from a glass carafe.

    No working filter

My pitcher came with a defective membrane filter. The replacement is "out of stock". I can't use my pitcher until I get this replacement.

    Works well

The only negative thing I can think of is the filtration rate is a little slow.

    SLOOOWWWW

i really like the glass pitcher and overall look and design but it filters incredibly slow (slower than my similar backpacking filters) and the reservoir for the pre-filtered water is small, so instead of being able to fill and filter a whole pitcher full overnight, i need to add water multiple times to get a full pitcher filtered.

    Best water filtering system

Lifestraw is the very best water filtering system ever! Nit only does it filter chemicals and toxins but also microplastics and bacterias. There are convenient pitchers and water bottles, totable straw systems, counter top high capacity dispensers and more! Great fashionable colors too! But most importantly, Lifestraw systems are superior, well constructed, functional, and offer an amazing warranty. You will not find a better water filtering system! In addition, Lifestraw contributes so much to communities around the globe , bringing clean, fresh water to all!
