LifeStraw Home Water Filter Pitcher 7 Cup + Silicone Base Glass

I wanted an easy way to filter my water and get me away from using water bottles. This glass pitcher is awesome at doing it all. Filters the water really well. Doesn’t leave any of the yuck lake water taste I was getting from my water. I love it!

First: I love that this is a glass pitcher. It's solid and elegant. I love that you don't have to manually open any doors/covers to refill the water -- it automatically ushers the water in and covers it. And if there is still water in the chamber to be filtered when you go to pour a glass, it doesn't spill out like other pitchers I've used. I really like the concept of the dual filters protecting my poured water from viruses, microplastics, and other harmful materials. Having lived in areas with boil advisories for weeks at a time, this gives me a major sense of comfort. Also, the longer lifespan of the filters is very attractive. I'd easily give 5 stars for these aspects! . . That all said, the filter is SO SLOW. The first batch of water (~2 cups) from my tap took nearly 3 hours! It has gotten faster in the few weeks since, but it still takes at least 2x what my old Brita did. It's very inconvenient when hosting/trying to provide water for >2 persons in the summer heat. I understand the reasoning behind the slow filtering, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it takes a very long time to produce a decent amount of clean water.

We purchased recently and it takes hours for the filters to work. We followed all the instructions and it is not working. I wrote to the company and Eduardo keeps sending me instructions on what to do with my replacement filter…. . this is brand new. I also sent the copy of my purchase.

Like the look and feel of sleek glass pitcher. Water takes a little while to run through filters but I understand that’s because it’s doing a good job at filtering!

The lid chipped and a piece broke off when trying to open the membrane the first time.

These are great glass water filters pitchers, I have purchased three of them this year and accessories and I give them to my adult children and their families so they all can have great water. We love these water filter pitchers. Thanks for making a great product MB

Best tasting water filter. I have tried Brita Elite, Zero Water, Pur, this comes out on top.

The Home 7-Cup Glass Water Filter Pitcher from LifeStraw is a good filter. The water taste is excellent. My only complaint is that the pitcher is heavy to handle, and refilling the pitcher takes a long time due to the excellent filtration drip system. We are a family of 2, and we are constantly almost running out of water, despite refilling the plastic filter canister every time that we use it. Maybe you can increase the size of the white filter canister to hold more water. It is a good water filter and pitcher, but it still needs some improvements.

The filter leaves the water tasting fresh and chlorine-free.

I love the idea of perfectly pure water and this is easy to set up and use, but I just can't get used to the taste. I use it for cooking but must drink the purified water that I buy in jugs.

I had to move a refrigerator shelf so it could fit but I don't mind. It is slow to filter, but it's worth it. I love this thing.

We had a 10 cup plastic pitcher,now we have the 7 cup glass pitcher and I really think the water tastes better than ever. Love it!

The Lifestraw Home 7 Cup glass dispenser is really a beautiful and functional piece of art. It’s looks lovely on my counter. My only complaint is that it can’t be filled up to full when empty without waiting for the water to drip through. I’ve yet to fill it completely because I keep pouring from it! I also wish that the larger counter sized dispenser was made in glass. I’d have bought the larger size otherwise.

This pitcher does everything it says it does, gives you the cleanest, most boring (in a good way) tasting water. Love it.

I have been wanting to remove plastic from my kitchen wherever possible. I bought this to replace a Brita filter and am so glad I did. The pitcher is 95% glass and the filter removes more contaminants than a Brita filter, including PFAS and microplastics. I love that you don't have to remove the lid to fill it and I don't have any issues with the speed or size of the filtration component. I just make sure to fill it any time I swing by the kitchen.

I own a waterbottle that I've used to travel the world, and just bought this pitcher for cleaner drinking water at home. I love this company and their products so so much!

A great addition to any counter or fridge. I love how it looks in my kitchen (I got the pruple). I've been using my new water filter since I got it and it's been great. It's a bit more prep than something like a Brita but the water tastes WAY better than any filter I've tried. It is slower to filter but that's also how you know it's actually filtering. I've had a few in the past where the water almost immediately trickles thru or water can bypass the filter completely which isn't an issue here, all of the seals are tight and the filtration is top notch. I'm from an area with notoriously bad water so I have peace of mind knowing how rigorous Lifestraw's testing is.
