Not sure yet!
I’m not really sure how I feel about this Lifestraw I just received. The water tastes a little funny to me, so I’m giving it some time to see if it’s me or the water. I have had other filters that I didn’t like because they alkalized the water. That may be why the water tastes funny with this system.

Love this pitcher! Looks great
Love this pitcher! Looks great and water tasted great! Yes the filter is slow, but not noticeably more than my previous pitcher of another brand. This one is way better!

Ridiculous
So the inner piece that you fill with water for filtering is tiny, and filters incredibly slowly. This means you have to take it out of the fridge 5 or more times and refill it in order to fill the entire carafe. And again because it is so slow, this can take you all day or more. On top of this, the carafe is very tall so it does not easily fit in the fridge and takes up tons of room because the base is wider than the top. You should fire whoever designed this thing.

Great but one caveat
I love the water and the look of this pitcher. My only problem is that the filter housing is plastic and one of my goals is to remove microplastics from my food and drink. . Of course, the LifeStraw says it removes microplastics from the water but then the water touches the plastic in the container. I understand that it would be impossible to make a filter in 2025 without plastic. My workaround is that I only filter enough water at a time so that it doesn’t touch the lower end of the plastic filter, so the water isn’t sitting in plastic. I then transfer the water to a glass pitcher in the fridge or my teapot or whatever. Other than that this is a great system. I’m buying a second house on well water and I’m buying a bigger LifeStraw for that house.

Perfect for small household
For a household one or two people, this is a fantastic pitcher. Its not huge, but it is lightweight and works really well.

Filter housing not sturdy
We started using the glass pitcher about two years ago. We like the product very much. I do have an issue with the filter housing assembly. It is plastic and not very sturdy. It has cracked though normal use twice in two years. Lifestraw does not seem to sell or have available for purchase just the filter housing. Consequently, we have had to buy three pitchers in two years. I wish they would make the housing more sturdy or available for purchase as a part.

Slow
It takes FOREVER for the water to filter down. Is this happening to anyone else? I only had this product for a month

Great pitcher
I was looking for a glass pitcher that still had great filtering capabilities and this seems to check all the boxes. It's reasonably priced and water tastes great. I deducted a star because it does take quite a while to filter through, much longer than my old pitcher. But I guess it's worth it for clean water.

LifeStraw Home 7-Cup Glass
I love the system. Things I would improve: 1) The pour spout is to small. I always seem to spill a little water pouring. The water comes quickly because of the length of the pitcher. 2) The glass could be slightly more dense. I haven't done it yet, but i could easily breaking the pitcher by hitting it on the sink or something when cleaning.

I am very happy with
I am very happy with the taste of the water and how well it cleans. I have also embraced your mission of helping supply water to the less fortunate. I was a little disappointed with the length of time it took to get a replacement, and it took many emails to get the final product fully replaced. I was also wondering if there is anway the pitcher could be made with thicker glass as it seems to break easily, as it is fragile. Hence, the four stars instead of five. I am considering the table top model at a later date. Is that made more durable? Thank you for making a quality product! Blessings! Mary

The Best Home Filter Pitcher
I am purchasing my second glass pitcher to be used around the house. First one is still going strong 6 years after purchase—easy filter replacement and peace of mind filtering out so much unwanted stuff!

Great product
Love that’s it’s a glass carafe- less microplastics. Also like that you can pour while there is water in the filter chamber. Great product ticks all my boxes

Not sure it’s worth the wait
We nearly died from dehydration waiting for the water to filter. SO. SLOW. It’s been in use for about a week and I can’t honestly say I’ve noticed any kind of meaningful acceleration. We now have a kind of “scarcity mentality” filling it every time we use it for fear that we’ll drink water faster than this thing can filter (which already seems to be the case). Yes, it tastes good. But 3 hours better than our old water pitcher filter? Um, probably not.

Too long to filter
Takes extremely long to filter. Water tastes good, but it takes 8 hours to fill the pitcher so that I can refill my water bottle. I will most likely look for a different product in the future.
