Damaged filter

Normally these filters are great, but the last filter I received seemed damaged and the water does not taste filtered at all. It tastes like it is straight out of the tap. This particular filter I received was not good quality.
A must-have with any filter purchase

I was introduced to LifeStraw while visiting my son and daughter in law in Spain. I loved it from the start. I'm so happy with mine and use it ALL the time. I only have the product for a month so I haven't had to change the filter. The first filter was easy to install and seems to work beautifully!
RV Drinking Water

We love LifeStraw products. Everyday drinking water comes from a LifeStraw pitcher, or a Go Bottle. At home, and especially on the road in our RV. Really gives a layer to safe drinking water when using alternative sources of water on the road in the RV.

I've been keeping this pitcher topped up, and am sure I'm drinking more water than I had been, which is good. I got the plastic pitcher for weight reasons, and am very happy with the strength of it, as well as the design, which makes ergonomic sense.

Love the way my water tastes coming from this. No chlorine taste & I can drink freely knowing I’m not putting all the harmful things in tap water into my body

The quality of filtered water is very refreshing. The only concern I have is that for the water I enjoy, I am adding more unrecyclable filter plastic to the earth after the filter expires.

Easy to handle. I fill every time I pour a glass. Tastes clean & fresh. Happy with it.

It gets the job done. I feel more comfort in drinking the tap water from the 100+ year old building and pipe system. I’ve had the system for a few weeks now and noticed a decline in the water flavor compared to the initial use. Overall ok. Stay hydrated!
It is nice to have

It is nice to have treated water just available. It works well, and is easy to fill. Sometimes there will be a drip or two after dispensing. The biggest challenge has been figuring out where to place it. It is convenient by the sink, but a bit large for finding a good spot. And I worry about splashing untreated water on the dispensing area. And big for in the fridge, but it may go there this summer. Now I need to locate a good filter that could be easily attached to a bathroom or kitchen sink faucet. Thoughts?

This filtration system worked great until the second washing. After that it leaks at the gasket so much so that it soaks though a folded up towel, and I have to change out the towel every day. It's also important to note how many people are drinking from the system so that you don't buy one to big, as we did. For only 2 people, this size is to big. I don't like that this leaks!! That is my biggest complaint!

Getting the filters on time and ready installation is very nice. However, I need to change the membrane and 2x now I have sent email on ordering one. I don't know what product on your website to order. I received a reply to go to your products online, but I still don't know which one to order. This will be the first time changing the membrane. I'm glad you have video tutorials on changing the filters.

I've only read & heard great things about LifeStraw, and was very excited to ditch bottled water. I went all in on the high capacity dispenser for my family. I followed the cleaning and assembly instructions thoroughly, ran 2 water cycles through the filters to make sure they were properly rinsed, and poured my first glass of water. That night, I was more ill than I have ever been. I had a terrible headache, was nauseous, and couldn't sleep. The next morning I was in extreme gastro distress & vomiting - it continued for 3 days. I went to Urgent Care to rule out stomach flu and other illness - all tests showed no illness. This was clearly because of the water I drank from our brand new LifeStraw dispenser. I'm extremely disappointed that our investment in a new water filtration setup resulted in such severe illness. I assume that it was due to the water filters, but also wonder if it could have been that we simply got a plastic model that was in poor condition? I'm terrified to try new filters - I never want to experience such severe illness again. This was such a disheartening experience with a brand I was truly excited to incorporate into our daily routine. . .

Overall, it's a good filter, However. . . . after a while, the water is given a moldy taste which I never expected to happen with the hype over this filter. I don't know of any better filter, so I'll stay with this one, but not happy over the moldy taste.

We really like the clean water. However, the design of the water spout is dumb. Really slow and eventually broke. Unusable now. Bought the pitcher to replace it. Need to have our clean water! After a few months it's developed a leak right at the bottom of the handle. Noticed water pooling on the counter below the pitcher. Then saw the drip from the handle. Don't know what to do now. Pretty unhappy with the quality of your products. Too expensive to replace.

I purchased the product as a gift for my daughter as she is trying to avoid plastics and has a hard time drinking water from the faucet due to the taste. She said the product is a life changer! She loves it!

9pitcher takes a long time to filter. Also, it doesn’t fill up completely. Understand this is because it’s filtering a lot
Filter could be better, but very good for the price.

I really like the filter. We are on a well and the water not only tastes better, but the occasional sulfur smell is gone as well. One question…the filter sits in the water once it runs thru (can only run 1 gl at a time) does that not risk leaching contaminants back into the water? One criticism…the drain valve does not allow complete drainage unless one tips the container. Could u not drain from the bottom rather than from the side? Also…u claim the capacity to be 35 cups, but one can only run run one gl at a time time (16 cups)
