I purchased two Life Straw 7cup. . . . one for each of my sons and their families. I have asked them to let me know how they like them. I was sold when I read that they filtered out microplastics! Sorry I cannot be more explicit!
Good Filter, But 10 Cup Pitcher Too Heavy

It’s a high quality, effective filter, and overall an improvement on competitors like Brita. However, the pitcher alone is heavier than it needs to be. When full of water, it’s a great strain to lift and pour for someone relatively fit — so much so that I would recommend people with weaker arms, wrists to avoid the 10 cup option and get the smaller one.

The 10Cup is TOO TALL to fill it in my sink, too tall to put on the counter, blocks cupboard doors.

I have not used it much yet because quite frankly, it is not easy to use. I have to run water into a separate container then poor it into the pitcher because I have a normal (not goose neck) faucet. The pitcher is so tall that when we want to open a cupboard that hangs over the counter, the door hits it. I honestly never dreamed I would need to check the pitcher height measurement before buying. I wish I had gotten the 7Cup one. I can't remember if that one also worked to remove Lead though, which is why we got it. I suspect it wont fit well in the refrigerator either. I am quite bummed. .

It works! A little larger than the Britta it replaced; nothing difficult about it.

I've had the life straw filter for a couple months now. Overall, it's very easy to use. It comes apart easily for cleaning and is easy to fill. It's the perfect size for one person (and 2 cats), though a little heavy. The instructions said to dispose of the first filtrate, but even after doing so, the water still tasted very chemical-y. I rinsed through the filter a few times and ever since it's been fine.
Easy to use. Great tasting

We bought your LifeStraw water filter as a primary filter for our drinking water. We also fill our dogs water bowls using your AWESOME filter system. We are very pleased with the drastic taste and smell of our city water. Thank you for a wonderful product.
I trust the filter, not the pitcher.

Part of it broke in our first use - we literally were taking the pitcher apart to clean it and a piece of the cone that holds the filter just broke off in my husbands hand. We can still use the pitcher, which we need to for now due to not having access to a kitchen sink, but we may get another pitcher given we dont want to get cut on this one when we go to wash it again.

The bottom part of the filter won’t unscrew so I can’t even use the pitcher that I purchased. I watched videos online to help me take the bottom cap off and nothing worked. Either this product is terrible or I have a defective filter and I don’t want to pay for another one.
Fantastic!

These pitchers are awesome, but when you need a new filter that is never in stock it is useless unless you want to just water your plants. Was going to buy a coupe more pitchers, but this issue has prevented that.
Had this for 2 years, now algae growing in impossible to clean spot

I want to start by saying I have absolutely loved this water filter pitcher system. I've had this for around 2 years at this point and it has been great. When I bought it, I was pregnant and couldn't stand the flavor of our tap water. That being said, the design of this specific pitcher has a flaw. There is a tiny seam/crease in the bottom of the pitcher on the inside. This wasn't an issue until recently, I saw a tiny bit of green growing around the inside. I clean the pitcher frequently, so this has happened only one other time and it easily cleaned up since it wasn't in that seam. However, this time, it is inside the crease and I cannot clean it, using a tiny water bottle straw brush or toothbrush--basically the bristles won't reach. This would be fine except that since the algae was growing in there, water clearly gets into that spot and algae is toxic when in water pitchers. I'm nervous to use the pitcher now because I'm not trying to drink toxic water! That was the entire point of buying the pitcher. If someone from LifeStraw has suggestions for how to fix this issue, that would be helpful.

The pitcher filters water surprisingly quick and it's easy to use and take care of. I like that you can keep it out or put it in the fridge. Very happy with the product!

The packaging was so tired that the filter housing towards the openning of the pitcher. See attached picture. Can you please send a new filter housing? I bought this in anticipation of a need for hurricane Milton; however, when I read the instructions for non-use storage longer than two months, I decided to defer testing the product because I’d have to purchase another filter for next hurricane season even if all I did was test it once. Perhaps there should be away to send a trial filter for initial use and testing,

I really wanted to like this product. But I bought it in November of 2023 and by April 2024, it developed small cracks along the seal at the bottom and a very large one that leaked all over my counter. LifeStraw was true to the warranty and sent a replacement. However, it is now October of 2024 and the cracks have occurred on the replacement, including the large one causing the pitcher to leak. LifeStraw is sending another replacement but I wish they would fix the problem. I do not use the product in any manner in which cracks should appear; it seems to be a manufacturing problem.
