A: These trays are both. The ice cubes are big though. Most trays with the soft silicone at the bottom are half this size. I like these trays and feel they will last longer

GREAT ICE CUBE TRAYS - Truly!
THE BEST ice trays that I’ve had. First f all, $3 is a great value. Target priced it well, in line with competitors. The size of the cubes is great. The flexible bottom allows you to easily push the cubes out & with the lid, you keep them clean & stack easily. Since I did read reviews where ppl said lids would break. I realized WHY that could happen - Just be sure not to overfill with water since the water expands as it freezes & can get stuck to the lid. If you try pulling it off, the lid could break. Regardless, I just take the lid off slowly. Been using them for weeks now, working fantastic!

the greatest ice cube tray ever
the best $3 I've ever spent. the silicone bottom means you DON'T have to bend the tray. I am fully baffled by reviewers who broke their trays by bending them to remove the cubes. literally this tray is designed to render that unnecessary. the size of the cubes is pleasing too. neither too skimpy nor aggressively large. so, definitely buy this if you need ice in your life.

Love the size of cubes, hate the cheap plastic it's made of
Haven’t even used these for 3 months and 2 already broke. I love the size of the ice cubes, the cover, and the silicone bottom. Unfortunately, sometimes in order to get cubes out, you have to crack the tray of ice (bend it). This caused 2 of 4 to break into pieces. Make it better Target.
