However, what can be recycled depends on the capabilities of your local Material Recovery Facility or sorting plant. Some facilities may be able to handle a wider range of materials, while others may be more limited.

A: Hello! Our Ice Cube Tray has a rounded cube design. To release an ice cube, you would simply press down on one side of the ice cube. This will allow the ice cube to pop up on the opposite side for easy removal.

A: Hello! Sadly, our Ice Cube Tray is not spill proof. The lid does not create a leakproof seal when it is on. The lid simply just slides over top of the tray to protect the ice cubes and allow for stacking.

These are nice, as they have 14 ports for making ice, but the covers are a little hard to put on after filling it with water, and to get off when frozen? But these are still better for cleanliness, than leaving the ice exposed in the freezer...

I noticed a large piece of plastic in my glass of water and upon closer inspection noticed that the plastic in these ice cube trays was peeling away. This is dangerous and how long was this happening before I had noticed. DO NOT BUY!! I’ve had these for about 3 years.

I chose to buy this because of the lids and I recommend you do the same! They help manage any mess when refilling & putting them in the freezer, the prevent the weird flavor/smell that some ice cubes get in an open tray, and (due to the sliding lid) you can easily extract just the ice cubes you want without making a mess/spilling all the ice cubes.

Bought this becuase it's BPA Free. While the white part of the ice cube tray is stamped with a "2" (High-Density Polyethylene - one of the safest types of plastic), the blue part is stamped with a "3". Plastic #3 contains chemicals like lead, DEHA and harmful dioxins. These can lead to various health risks, such as birth defects, hormone disorders, and cancer. It is best for your health and the environment to avoid plastic #3. Maybe if you don't overfill the tray with water (like I usually do), and the ice never touches the blue lid, maybe there's no issue. Just sharing what I found, for those who want to know.

These are so useful! I moved to a place without an ice maker and these helped make me ice thank you, well they helped mold the ice for me, so thank you for that as well. Sometimes the top is hard to slide off but I think that’s usually because the ice gets on the inner lid and makes it hard to slide. No worries, it only happens occasionally. Other than that I like it !
