smelly
bought this and loved the cube size, easy to get out but the smell... what the..? I didn't smell it at first but can't avoid it now. it just kept getting worse and worse and makes all drinks taste like chemicals. I tried bleaching it as a last resort but sadly, nope.

Good luck getting the cubes out of the tray. A pair of Channellock pliers is helpful but it will still require a lot of banging and cussing and ice cubes ending up all over the floor.

Small - Best for water bottles
It is so small that the ice melts really fast. It's ok for putting in water bottles but I wish they were larger. I like the ease of popping out the cubes but I ended up buying other ice trays. I pretty just use these to make gelatin cubes for snack.

Do NOT buy these! These should not have passed quality control. They shed some kind of material into your drink! First time using them and you can see the picture on the left is full of floaties from these ice cubes (the glass on the right is from the same faucet, no ice). I let the ice melt and sit in the sun for 20+ minutes thinking maybe they were air bubbles or ice shreds but they remained. Both the square cubes and the oblong ones did this. I used the plastic cover when freezing the one tray but not on the other so not related to the cover.
