Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 glass (4 fl. oz.) of water every 2 hours, or as directed by physician. Dissolve completely in water. Accurately measure 1/2 teaspoon. Do not take more than the following amounts in 24 hours. Seven 1/2 teaspoons. Three 1/2 teaspoons if you are over 60 years. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks.Adults and Children 2 Years of Age and Older:
For Use as a Paste: Add enough water to the sodium bicarbonate to form a paste. Apply to the affected area of the skin as needed, or as directed by a doctor. For Use as a Soak in the Bath: Dissolve 1 to 2 cups in a tub of warm water. Soak for 10 to 30 minutes as needed, or as directed by a doctor. Pat dry (do not rub) to keep a thin layer on the skin. For Use as a Compress or Wet Dressing: Add sodium bicarbonate to water to make a mixture in a container. Soak a clean, soft cloth in the mixture. Apply cloth loosely to affected area for 15-30 minutes. Repeat as needed or as directed by a doctor. Discard mixture after each use.Children Under 2 Years:

I couldn't open a fridge without seeing a box of arm & Hammer baking soda sitting in there. It's the size that I mainly purchase because I don't use a lot of it at a given time. My only issue is that it doesn't reseal well.

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda (1 box) Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda (1 cup) Borax (1 cup) Laundry bar soap (1/2 a bar or 7 ounces grated) 60 drops of scented oil Mix all ingredients and stir in a jar with a lid. Scoop 2 tablespoons for a larger loaf into the washer. Clean, fresh, custom-scented detergent for a fraction of the fancy soap store price!

When making pretzels you need to use a baking soda bath before baking. The resealable bag has a wide opening which makes it very easy to measure out the correct amount of baking soda. I can also even off each cup and the extras go right back into the bag without any waste.

I have been a Arm and Hammer lover for MANY years. So very many uses that everyone needs to know about to keep a house, cook and clean the kitchen, and take care of their pets. Also just thinking about personal care alone, boggles the mind that this one product has so many uses. It is very economical for all of the above,and why spend so much money when one purchase can do it all? It's not harmful to the ecology, nor the pets you love. I first purchased a bag and started using it for a variety of benefits around and in my household. I use it in my laundry to brighten and soften fabrics. I have found excellent results. I have also used this product as a safe & natural deodorizer in shoes, closets in an open container and found it to be very effective. Also in the refrigerators in my home.
