Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 glass (4 fl. oz.) of water every 2 hours, or as directed by physician. Dissolve completely in water. Accurately measure 1/2 teaspoon. Do not take more than the following amounts in 24 hours: seven 1/2 teaspoons; three 1/2 teaspoons if you are over 60 years. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks., For use as a soak in bath: dissolve 1 to 2 cups in a tub of warm water; soak for 10 to 30 minutes as needed, or as directed by a doctor; pat dry (do not rub) to keep a thin layer on the skin. For use as a compress or wet dressing: add sodium bicarbonate to water to make a mixture in a container; soak a clean, soft cloth in the mixture; apply cloth loosely to affected area for 15-30 minutes; repeat as needed or as directed by doctor; discard mixture after each use.Adults and Children 2 Years of Age and Older

I also use it when I make DIY carpet powder, and it never clumps… just sprinkles evenly and makes rugs and carpets smell clean again. I used this baking soda to clean around the kitchen, deodorize my sneakers and I even added half a cup to my laundry to brighten my whites. This will leave your laundry and smelling so clean.

The bigger size is so convenient—I’m not constantly running out—and the resealable bag keeps it fresh and clump-free. I love that it’s pure and versatile enough for everything from deodorizing the fridge to freshening laundry and even cleaning around the house. The bag is sturdy and easy to pour from without making a mess. The only thing I’d change is adding a little plastic scoop for convenience, but that’s easily solved with the extra measuring cup I already have. For the price, it’s a fantastic value, and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from Arm & Hammer. Definitely a staple I’ll keep on hand.
