Just What i needed

Please keep in mind that when first opened, it is not unusual for an extract to have a strong smell. Extracts are intended to be used with other ingredients. Once the extract is added to a recipe, any strong aroma/taste should be minimal. Oven heat and baking time will dissipate the alcohol flavor profile of the extract and will allow the extract flavor to bloom and enhance your recipe. ~JM

I usually get my vanilla from Mexico, but ran out and needed more, so I purchased a bottle of McCormick. YUCK YUCK YUCK. It doesn't smell delicious, looks watered down and really has no flavor.

Our favorite vanilla for baking and various drinks. The vanilla flavor is rich and does not taste diluted like so many other brands. It smells soooo nice. We use it for cakes, cookies, brownies, frosting, etc.
