    Just What i needed

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this ground nutmeg seems top notch. One thing I like to do with it is to mix it in with coffee grounds before brewing coffee. I think this gives the coffee a nice flavor. But I've used the nutmeg in oatmeal and other foods too, and it seems to go well with a lot of other foods.

    I always use McCormick pure vanilla extract for my baking. The only problem I have is with the bottle being dark brown. I can never tell how much vanilla is left in the bottle even holding it up to the light doesn't help.

    TERRIBLE

    Opened up a new bottle this evening. Made cookies and they are horrible. Narrowed it down to the extract! It tastes like straight alcohol and it's making our family sick.

    Terrible

    I usually get my vanilla from Mexico, but ran out and needed more, so I purchased a bottle of McCormick. YUCK YUCK YUCK. It doesn't smell delicious, looks watered down and really has no flavor.

    Bad product in a bad bottle

    McCormick has changed their extract and bottle to the detriment of the product. Extract recipe smells overwhelmingly of alcohol, and is unable to be dispensed from the bottle without spilling every drop of liquid down the side. Please find another brand!
