The vanilla flavor did not come through as much since there were other flavors in there. But I assume that it would be amazing in a simpler baked good.

You don't really need much because 1 tbsp vanilla extract = 1 vanilla bean. The bottle ingredients: water, cane alcohol, vanilla bean extractives. It's a big bottle great value for money, since it's has long life expiration date.

I was a little worried about the vanilla extract, but this one was a lifesaver! It gave my gingerbread a really warm, sweet flavor that made it taste so much better. Yes, it's costs more, but a simple comparison of ingredients has me sold, not to mention how it tastes and smells better. It improves the flavor of baked goods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall It works just fine. I did not like that it has more alcohol than vanilla and it smells like it, it is no pleaseant to smell. The bottle is the right color for light not to be an issue, it is glass made but feels sturdy. I used it in both oatmeal and cakes and taste is ok ( I did noticed I had to use a slight more than usual for the right flavor) but I have used better and I think I'll stick to my usual one just because vanilla is actually higher in the ingredient list.
