Each piece is heavy and well designed. I love the black on white raised texture! Very elegant and something I am proud to display at my table. Just the set of dishes I was looking for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the set I originally chose. I was a bit dissatisfied when it arrived but after washing them they grew on me! I have received so many compliments from friends on them! They are made extremely well. They aren’t thin at all. They are thick and durable. My son already dropped a plat and surprisingly it did NO break! Not even a crack or chip. I absolutely love this set now and I will recommend to anyone looking for a new dish set in the future!

I thought the texture would pose a problem when washing but was pleasantly surprised when they washed clean in the dishwasher. There was a slight off-gassing smell the first time I washed them but they were fine after that. I love the handles on the coffee mugs. They are the perfect size for a solid grip. Plus, they heat well in the microwave and keep my coffee warm. This stoneware set is solid and doesn't chip easily which is always a concern with stoneware.

They have a charming rustic look and are made of a nice quality stoneware material. They are heavy so it can be a bit too much for younger kids to carry around and they are also breakable. I really like that these are microwave safe even though it does have the groves on them. Been using it for a few weeks now, I will admit I am a foodie so I will take photos of certain things that I make and because of the colors of this a lot of the food will pop brightly which is really nice. They are a little bit heavy but that's a good thing because I don't have to worry about them breaking easily

There is lots of matte black in the light fixtures, doorknobs and cabinet hardware. My everyday stark white dishes just needed something to mix with them to make the decor more compatible. These Stone+Lain high quality tableware are perfect. They are smooth white stoneware on the outside with a raw unglazed natural bottom rim. The black and white embossed insides resemble a modern tapestry. They are finished with a smooth wide black rim. I especially like the soup/ pasta bowls for their size and low profile. They are practical and multifunctional. This rustic set is microwave and dishwasher safe. This unique style melds my traditional and farmhouse decor while remaining affordable. The dinner plates, salad plates, bowls and mugs fit into my dishwasher and so have found a repeated place at my dining table. These are quality stoneware.

They appear to be sturdy and chip/break resistant and can be put in both the dishwasher and microwave. The design is actually molded into each piece so no need to worry about paint or laminate wearing off.

We were using a solid color before and wanted something that had design and used basic colors and bam this met the requirements. They are durable, well made and perfect! The design and texture of the stoneware is unique from anything I have seen or used. The stoneware is good quality and should last a long time. Even with the texture on the stoneware they have been easy to clean. Love the stoneware!

The mugs are of a good proportion and are comfortable to hold. Everything is a standard size and fits just fine in my kitchen cabinets. So far we're happy with this set.

These are the perfect addition to my kitchen, theyre a bit weighty making them feel teuly premium like they belong in a high end restaurant. What i absolutely love about these though is the pattern, it actually has a raised surface pattern, not something just printed on but an actual raised pattern. I have been constantly using these to show off my cooking skills when i plate up and serve anyone. While my food is great these really accentuate the meal and bring it together. 100000/10

It's complete service for four with 10-in plates, the smaller salad plate, these beautiful shallow bowls that are almost like pasta or salad bowls and the traditional coffee mug. They are black on the outside with a beautiful textured feeling to the inside that gives them added depth. These are unusual but really stand out because of the design and the texture. These would also be great to mix with solid black dishes or glassware, bakeware when you're serving. These are made very well and they're nice and heavy duty but you can put them in the dishwasher without any problems. Really a great beautiful set that I love to use everyday.

Very good quality, well made, and a great size for each piece. The mugs are full size, not like others that are more tea size. Bowls are perfect salad bowls to where they are shallow but nice round size. Rough to touch which I’ve never used before but I love that aspect. Love them and perfect for just the two of us.

It comes with 16 pieces that include 4 large dinner plates, 4 smaller plates, 4 bowls, and 4 mugs. The black and light brown/tan colors work very well in my kitchen which is mostly decorated with wood and because the colors are neutral, this set would also work in a kitchen that has a modern design as well. The set is thicker than most of my dish sets and appears to be very durable. I look forward to serving my family many meals with these beautiful dishes.
