Smells great but didn't make my hair feel soft. And I notice this a lot from organic/plant based items.

And for the second step the conditioner softens my hair. The fragrance is different from other products I have tried. Reminds me of rose grapefruit scent. But it is nice. The shampoo is PETA cruelty free so it’s great to know it was created with natural source ingredients. The bottle has lasted me for over a month. It is a great economical duo.
