This is a very beautiful chandelier. 1 star off because the dark bronze metal really is black, not dark bronze. The wooden part is normal size for a chandelier, but be aware that the shade is significantly larger. We thought 35 inches didn't sound too big, but we should have made a mock up for the lamp to appreciate how big that is. Best for large rooms and big dining table. We're keeping ours because it is gorgeous, but might not have bought it if we had realized the true size of it.
