Comfortable sharp scissors

They are easy to hold and don’t cause any fatigue while using. I’ve been using them for over a year now and see no signs of dulling. Fiskars continues to be a great brand.

Not for Lefties
These are pretty scissors…but what the package doesn’t tell you if they are made for right handed people. They were so uncomfortable for me as a lefty and I suddenly realized why. The package needs to be labeled right handed scissors. Now I’m out the money and will still need to buy scissors.

All Fiskars scissors that are designed for left-handed users are clearly labeled as such or indicate that they accommodate both left and right-handed users. Since left-handers make up only about 10% of the population, it’s generally safe to assume that most scissors are intended for right-handed use. To distinguish between left-handed and right-handed scissors, you can look at the orientation of the blades. When you open the scissors, if the blade on the right side is on top, they are right-handed scissors. Conversely, if the blade on the left side is on top, they are left-handed scissors. Some scissors have ergonomically designed handles that are shaped to fit the hand more comfortably. Right-handed scissors will have handles that fit the right hand better, while left-handed scissors will be shaped for the left hand. When using right-handed scissors with your right hand, you can see the cutting line clearly. If you use left-handed scissors with your left hand, the same applies. This visibility helps ensure more accurate cuts.

Precise, sharp, and stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the middle of a major move and inevitably purchased a few random scissors through the process. When I saw that I was receiving more scissors I thought this was the last thing I needed. But I’m SO GLAD I got these Fiskars scissors, they cut thick cardboard, packing tape, etc with ease and just seemed to make a sharper line than any of the comparable new scissors. Even in the chaos of packing I had to have these by my side the whole time. Plus, the lilac color is so pretty!

Great Scissor

A few days later I made a purchase and the product package was a really hard plastic one, not easy to be opened. And this scissor did a GREAT and easy job, and I keep it in my car and used it in other situations as well and worked great.!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A pair of purple handle scissors that I have had for many years fell to the hard tile floor and the handle busted. I was looking for a replacement that did not have a plastic handle to avoid this happening again. I decided to try these Fiskars SoftGrip Scissors. I think that these Ergonomic handles will fall without busting apart. This pair of scissors is very sharp - much sharper than my previous scissors. This all-purpose scissors for every day cutting tasks can be used on paper, cardstock and light fabric. The full time warranty warranties the product "to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer owns the product." I liked it so much that I just ordered a second pair.

So far I have only used the scissors on card stock paper but they work great. I received this product as a free sample but I would definitely purchase a pair in the future. Also the color is beautiful.
