Q: Would this tape hold shoe straps where the adhesive had worn down. Currently the shoes are unsafe to wear because I cannot keep the straps from coming undone.

I bought this to hem my 5 year olds pants for a dress up day at school. The tape held up perfectly through recess and PE. I fully expected to pick her up from school with one or both pant legs coming undone but thankfully that wasn’t the case. I would definitely recommend, if this tape can survive a day with a rowdy 5 year old it can definitely hem some pants for an adult.

Works perfectly. I don't know what the 1-star reviewers are talking about but this tap is absolutely wonderful. It keeps my scarf in place. I gave it to my sister for a dress that has a split way too far up and it held all day. I took one star off because I wish the split seam was actually splitable. It's such a large piece so one would have to take an exacto knife or something to split it down the middle. Otherwise it's amazing!

Does not stick...at all
VERY strongly advise against purchasing. This did not stick at ALL to the clothing I wanted to hem. Not even for a second, from the moment I laid the first strip down. Cotton blend material, nothing out of the ordinary. Total waste of money. I’ll get them hemmed like I should have.

Absolutely impossible to use. Tried twice, once to do a quick hem on slacks, and again to apply a patch to a three-cornered tear. Could not, in either case, get a corner started to peel off the brown paper. Would NEVER buy again -- a waste of money.
