I bought this, more affordable, tape to try it out. Less than impressed. It didn’t stick to my skin and was impossible to actually remove from the dispenser. When I did get it to stick to my dress, it made a pulling shape.
I’ve been using another company’s fashion tape for years. I have 1 in my back clutch and 1 in my makeup bag. Rushing out to a wedding I had forgotten both and ran into Target to get more. They only had this Dress Tape. No. Not. Buy. It quite simply did not work. I could tell immediately that the quality was nowhere near the quality of the other tape. The dispenser was wonky. The tape did stick to my skin but that’s it. I spent all night checking my neckline and reapplying. After 4 hours of fiddling and 2 trips to redo the whole thing I gave up.
This wedding was 2 days ago and I’m still annoyed. Just returned the rest of the tape to Target. Can’t believe they even sell this.
I’m giving this a 2 star because the tape stuck to my skin just fine, but it would not stick to my dress. Didn’t really help me at all and I ended up just taking it off within an hour

Hi Weddingguest, Thanks for writing a review! Sorry to hear about the tape not sticking well to your clothing. My advice is to keep trying. You may have just chosen a bad piece of tape or try using scissors to cut the tape instead of using the dispenser. Thanks, Lilly @FahionFormsOfficial
It's very difficult to get the liner tape separated from the actual tape -- sometimes I've given up on a piece and tried another; sometimes I put the tape on my bra straps without getting the liner off at all (that didn't work out too well). When I can get the liner off, the tape works well.
I had high hopes for this product but was disappointed in the quality. The tape is not very sticky and the fabric on my dress had no luck clinging to the tape itself. I used a decent amount with no luck and made sure not to get my fingers all over tape to help prevent ruining the adhesive but, no matter how much I used it was worthless. Did not work for what it was intended for: keeping my top of my dress from being revealing. I like the idea of this product but save yourself the money and headache the process to pull the paper off the tape is also very time consuming and cumbersome.

Hi Kiki08, Thanks for writing a review! Sorry to hear that you were having trouble with the Tape Dispenser. It can be tricky, but with a few tips I think you will like the tapes the next time you use them. First, to make sure the tape sticks make sure you are starting with clean dry skin. This means skin that is free of oils, lotions, moisturizers, powders, perfumes, or deodorant. If you are still having trouble use a little rubbing alcohol to dry out the area, that should help any adhesive product stick. Second, try using smaller pieces of tape. Not only will they be easier to peel but you will be able to place your clothing where you need it. Third, make sure you peel one side of the tape, stick it where you need it, peel the other side of the tape, then stick your clothing to the tape. Good Luck! Thanks, Lilly @FashionFormsOfficial
I used this on my wedding day to make sure my boobs did not make any unscheduled appearances, yes the dispenser was awkward to deal with the tape is thick, but you want the tape to be thick you just need to slow down and pay attention to cutting (or even better use scissors). But you really should put it on your skin first and then make sure its super stuck to your skin, THEN lay the material down where it should go. I think a lot of people just don't know how to use this. I put this on at noon and took it off at 2 am on my wedding day. it lasted all day. Now if it does come off you need a whole new piece there isn't any saving the used one but the packaging is small enough to take with you and takes 30 seconds to reapply. I am also alergic to adhesive and this did pretty well on my sensitive skin on a pretty sensitive area.
