My youngest is two months and is able to grip the toy with no problem. I love the texture and it’s not as soft as I thought it would be but still excellent quality. Love the colors very attentive and mind stimulating. Great for kids who are developing their motor skills. We use these when we are having tummy time due to my toddler loves to roll it around .

They are light weight, easy for little ones to grasp, hold on to, and explore. They are easy to clean off and wash - no concerns of mold. The thin one makes a rattling noise.

The circle openings of both toys are the perfect shape and size for little ones to confidently and easily grasp to play with. I’d say they could start playing with this at just a few months old, as soon as they are learning to grasp, this is a perfect tool to teach that skill! The toys are a soft silicone that is perfect for teething babies. The toys are very well constructed and stand up to my active baby (and toddler!) play. I appreciate that the rattle has beads for a auditory sensory input but it isn’t too loud and overwhelming. My babies love this set, I would definitely gift this item to any new mom friend or recommend they purchase as well!
