Q: I don't get it... What is the purpose of the lumpy stuff in the ladle?

A: I looked up the ladle separately: the roller ball sticks out underneath to make it good for rolling on pizza sauce on the crust dough, but otherwise it looks like a nightmare to wash by hand.
