Same as the 2024 release. Perfect addition to any indoor halloween decor. If you can find one, definitely get it. They also added a ghost with a cat this year, so I anticipate (and hope) they'll keep adding another version of this ghost annually.

Shows in stock so I made an online purchase. It was sadly canceled. Why can’t more be made since the ghosts are so popular? It’s better to pick one in store since most of these have little imperfections.

I finially was able to get one of these ghosts with the pumpkin and with the bat. I had ordered for pickup a couple of times and got a message that order has been cancelled due to out of stock. Like a couple other reviewers noted, there was one instance when I thought I had gotten a ghost for pickup. I received a message that my order was ready for pickup. The guy that scanned my code and went to the area to get my item. He came back and said that he couldn't find my order. He said that it was human error or it “must have gotten lost” or marked picked but not really picked. I believe that if it was out of stock the order would have been canceled for starters. He said he'd check the shelves to see if there were any (because online there were 2 available on the shelves in that store). He checked and said there were no more. Suffice it to say, I'm not happy with the strangeness of the situation. I am happy that I finally got a ghost in the 2 styles.

I had been trying to find this ghost with the bat since I saw it online. It is absolutely adorable. I am very disappointed in how these “viral items” are being handled though. I didn’t even know it was an issue until after I had this experience. I was finally able to find it in stock at my local target. I did an online pick up for 2 but when I got home with my order only one ghost was there. I called and spoke to someone at the store to see if it got left out by mistake or if they had one since I had paid for it and wanted it. He said they don’t know what happened to my ghost because it wasn’t there. His only explanation is that it was human error or it “must have gotten lost”. If it was out of stock it would have been canceled from my order. Something happened to it after it was pulled for my order because I paid for it and I got one of them. He went to check the shelves and said the computer showed they had 3 in stock but he was not able to find any in the back where they keep seasonal items. Like the other commenter stated I think shady things are happening in the stores with employees or other people buying these up and reselling. They appear and then suddenly are gone or they get basically only 4 at a time in store supposedly? It really doesn’t make sense.

After making 2 pick up orders that were canceled, the 3rd one shockingly went through and I managed to snag this one and the one with the pink pumpkin! Don’t give up, keep checking early in the morning to see if they’re restocked. They’re both so adorable and the price is perfect. They truly should make it easier to get them though, hopefully next year if they make a new one they learn to have more in stock at a time. :(
