Easy installation

This is a great rain gauge, but.....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this rain gauge. I can see it from my kitchen window and the red float (a nice touch) makes reading the gauge from a distance very easy. I didn't give 5 stars because the package it came in was inadequate. The box was flimsy, bent, there was no internal padding around the rain gauge, and there was a crack in the bottom of the gauge. It holds water-- the crack didn't go all the way through the plastic--but if the packing had been better, this wouldn't have happened.
