Progress Lighting Briarwood 4-Light Foyer Pendant, Galvanized Steel, Vintage-Style Bulbs, Wood Enclosure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixture came wrapped up well, but boy was it HUGE. It installs like a ceiling fan, and it was easy to hang. It comes with rods to secure the light fixture. We did not end up using all of the rods as our ceiling was only 9 feet tall. This would work well with a farmhouse theme as it has a colored galvanized look with a cross cross rectangle pattern. As we could not install the fixture in the center of the room, we installed it just inside the front door in the corner of our living room. I recommend looking at multiple lightbulbs as the lights are in a criss-cross pattern and we had originally thought we would need narrow and tall lightbulbs in order to fit side by side. This would also look good with globe shaped lightbulbs. It would be quite a bit of work to dust this fixture had we hung this on a more appropriate 12-14 foot ceiling as the cage is not smooth and the corners can trap dust easily. Overall, the light is cute but little things for us give it a bit less than 5 stars.

It adds a touch of elegance and rustic charm. We've received numerous compliments on its stylish design and how well it complements our decor. However, it doesn't come with bulbs, so I had to purchase them separately. Despite this minor inconvenience, the design and ambiance it adds are well worth it.

It is quite large and is a total statement piece hanging in an open floor plan or a high ceiling foyer or hallway. Absolutely LOVE!!

Even though it's designed for hallways and foyers, it works perfectly over my dining table, which has low ceilings.
