Q: Would it lay level on the floor if you turned it upside down? I would also like to fit some shoes directly on the floor. I can't tell if the joints at the top would make it wobble.

I just recently got this. It was easy to figure out and put together. I did not need tools. It held all of my shoes well and is sturdy enough for the job. I don’t know why there were complaints. It’s just a matter of putting it together right. I filled it and am ordering another.

This shoe organizer is very cheaply made. Pieces of fabric hang from tiny plastic tubes. It holds shoes but I'm not sure how long it will last. Not worth the money.

I think this coulda been a great shoe rack it was just much bigger than I thought. It seemed cheap when I first opened it but after putting it together it was pretty sturdy. This would be great for an open space or really big closet.
