Disappointed
I've been using this razor for about a month. I haven't noticed that it shaves any closer or more comfortible than my Mach3. It also has a higher price point. I find it heavier and honestly more cumbersome. The cartridge is wider and it's hard to get a close shave up to my nostrils. The swivel head is cute, and I didn't notice anything beneficial with that. I did a comparison with my Mach3 and noticed no difference. I also noticed the blades are very small to fit 5 of them in the cartridge. My consensus is it's more of a gimmick and/or marketing ploy of being better when it's actually not. The only reason it was purchased was because I was looking for Mach III blades and they were not available, so I purchased the Fusion. I am highly disappointed.

Still a good razor, but quality...
I have been using this for quite a few months now. It gives a close shave. However, it seems like the quality of them has gone down over time. More specifically, I have been noticing that after about 6-7 shaves, the blue strip falls off completely. If you want to feel a bad difference when shaving, don't have the blue strip attached.

What Happened To Gillette Razors? Total Garbage!
I've been using Gillette Razors for nearly 40 years. I've always had a nice close easy shave with their Razors until lately. The last two purchases I've made over the last year or so the Razors just don't seem to be sharp or capable of doing what they are designed to do. It's like using a razor with 20 shaves on it right out of the package. It takes forever for me to shave now with going over and over and over the same area which use to only take one pass. Razors aren't cheap but Gillette obviously thinks it's okay to steal their loyal customers money with a cheap product now. Luckily there are many other options out there that I will be moving onto after 40 loyal years of use. See you Gillette, good luck staying in business with poor performing overpriced products.

Disappointing
I've been using Fusion 5 for years, and for the first time I 'm really disappointed. The blades are not sharp as before, and the new design seems to be made for a worse experience. I'll switch to another brand.

I have been purchasing these blades for over 5 years. Unfortunately, then the blade was updated, it made me look for another brand. I have to say, they are now the worst razors I have tried. They have left me with razor burn right after replacing them. On to the next brand.

Very dissatisfied!do not buy
I am very disappointed with this product. I have been using Gillette razors and blades my whole life. I used the Mach 3 last which served my needs good last year I ordered the fusion 5 , what a dis’s appointment! I orded 20 blades and 1 razor. The razor broke on my first blade it wouldn’t connect to the blades ! I had 19 refills blades left so I ordered another razor that came with 4 blades. Just running water over it and shaking to clean it broke on the second shave. It won’t connect to and blades anymore. What a disappointment!! Now I have 23 refills and no razor!! What a delima! Now I am in search of a new razor . What a shame very disappointed ! I do not recommend to anyone as very poor Quality!

While I'm happy about the close shave but to state that these blades last up to 20 shaves is misleading. I generally get a maximum of 2 shaves before I have to switch the blades out.

Go back to original Fusion razor.
I have ALWAYS used Gillette but finding another brand soon. The new fushion 5 design is TERRIBLE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO BACK TO OLD DESIGN. The “jagged teeth” give me a “jagged face”. Very uncomfortable to shave with. Will be back when the original Fushion razor comes back.

Great but missing one important thing...
It's a great razor. My old one lasted me nearly 15 years but it's missing one important thing; the original came with a snap on cover that was fantastic because it protected the razor from getting dull and also protected everything else in my gym bag from the razor. The new ones don't have this anymore and it's a main reason I bought my new one, because my 15 year old handle had seen better days but is still going and that's largely due to the old case I'd bet. I hope they bring it back.

Why did nobody tell me?
Up until last week I had been using 2 blade razors. My handle broke so I decided to try a Fusion 5. It was a revelation. The advertising does not do justice to to the experience. It is like wiping a soft piece of foam across your face/head and the bristles magically disappear.

Redesign to Razor Heads on Fusion 5 is Terrible
I've been using Gillette Fusion5 blades for YEARS. They used to be the very best out there. The recent change to the plastic/rubber around the blades on the heads is terrible. It causes too much friction/drag, and prevents the blades from getting close enough to the skin for a close shave. This makes you use more pressure to get the blades closer, forces you to shave over the same spot over and over, and results in MORE cuts, not fewer. And you STILL don't have results as good as they used to be. Please go back to your old design or at least rethink the new one. I am searching for something new now after almost 20 years, because these are just plan unusable.

So unhappy with the new blade design... They are so uncomfortable to shave with... A harder plastic compound with jagged teeth.. Not a very pleasant shave...
