When it came to the gates we wanted wide and long hinges that you see many people use. They are wide at one end and gets smaller on the other. They are black and are very strong. You could see them out in the country, barn gates. They are easy to install and are heavy duty. They are actually very easy to install and once installed they give off a old Time charm. We were able to install them very easy , and are very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These T Hinges really hold up and really make a gate, screen, whatever you’re working with very safe, it closes quick so it reduces the chance for rodents to sneak in! Easy to assemble, you can pretty much use these anywhere. Not only do they work amazingly well, but you get added security that these are hard to disassemble once in place!

I will definitely replace the other 2 hinges with this same model when its time.

The gate has been up about a week now and so far so good with the hinges working properly. We'll be getting a second set to work on the other side of the gate later this year.

I had to replace a piece of rotten trim that the old hinges used to be mounted to and they were beaten up. These hinges work perfectly and the door swings nicely now.

These were perfect for the door so that I can get in and out of the U shaped raised garden bed area. These gave not only function we needed for the gate but to also give it that farm look. We ended up using our own screws as we needed longer ones.

Not only do they give the support and function that we needed. They also give that farm look. While it was nice they came with screws, we ended up using our own to give it more of a heavy duty job. Plus the screws that are with this, were too short.

Now I'm not saying I'm an average builder I'm a beginner putting that out there 1st. I proceeded to do my best at welding welding these hinges on to my door to make it open and close close flawlessly. However like I said I was a beginner so my husband had to come behind me and fix my mistake thank God these are very well made hinges heavy duty can take a welding and get welding and a burn back off and place it in kind of beating and still have the same integrity as it did with the 1st mess up.

I am not very handy and am still learning this skill so I had trouble removing the old hinge. With my neighbors help it was gone and I was ready to install the new one. The only complaint I have is that there were no screws to attach it and being new to home repairs I had to bring the hinge to my local hardware store and match it for screws. After that I was golden. I drilled the holes and screwed the hinge into place. I do think that the hinge is made of heavy duty material. I hope it lasts as long as I need it to.

We’ll be sure to pick up another one. The screws are nice and heavy. Seem thicker than what usually comes with these.

Holes are countersunk for screws. Come in 4,5,6, and 8 inch's sizes. Galvanized with weatherguard coating.

It's lightweight but strong and I'm sure will last as long as I need it to. Not flimsy like the previous hinge that bent when a wind gust caught the door.
