If you work outside and worry about skin cancer, this is a blessing!

I have skin cancer, and I hate using sunscreen. I found this at Target.com, and not only does it have UPF50 protection, it is big and floppy and there is a piece in the back covering the back neck area. No more "Red Neck" for this redneck....lol. The only downer is that, while it certainly works, it really is floppy and I feel I have to look almost upward to see well in front of me. Maybe it's just somethin new that I need to get used to, but it's worth mentioning. I work in my yard in the triple-digit South Texas sun, and it is imperative that I keep my face shaded. It might not prevent exposure completely, but it is way ahead of slathering on that peksy sunscreen.

Holding up very well!

I pack them flat on top of clothes and they arrive in perfect shape. I hand wash them a lot and hang to dry. Been a few years now and still look new. Glad they still make them. I am getting more colors while i can!

Versitle hat with wide brim

The light beige color is a nice off-white that will go nicely with many outfits. The hat has a wide brim and neck flap attached that will help me not have to reapply sunscreen as it provides excellent coverage. The bow in the back adds a bit of adjustability to the fit of the hat that I appreciate. I have always wanted a hat that allows me to put a ponytail through it and am happy with this purchase.
