Really good quality tuna but expensive considering how little is in the can.

Mind Blowingly Delicious
Holy cow, this stuff is so so good straight out the can! The fish and olive oil are incredible quality, will be buying this every time I go on a Target run. Note if you’re planning on mixing this in a tuna salad I’d just get regular tuna, this is definitely meant to be eaten as is.

Best canned tuna!
Expensive but I get it. I come from a long line of Portuguese tuna fishermen and have eaten good fish all my life. So I am picky about my canned tuna. This was the best I’ve ever tasted. I only assume the non-5 star reviews are from people adding a bunch of crap like mayo and whatnot to make a salad/sandwhich. Stop. Just eat it. On crackers. It’s perfect as is. Buy the cheap stuff if all you want is a tuna sandwhich.

Overpriced, low quality
Overpriced! Tiny can of meh tuna. Why is this so expensive? It’s not tasty.

Delicious & High Quality
I recently tried Fishwife tinned seafood, and I am so impressed. The flavors are amazing and taste fresh, not overly fishy like some other brands. I love the unique varieties they offer, and the packaging is fun and sustainable, too. It’s perfect for a quick, healthy snack or to add a gourmet touch to salads and pastas. Highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality, responsibly sourced seafood.

Paying for the packaging not the tuna
Love the packaging - both the outside package and the fact that it’s a pull tab can. Very cute and easy to prepare. In terms of taste, I honestly don’t feel like this is any different than tuna that costs a third of the price and I feel like we are paying for the packaging. I likely would not buy again, but it was fun to try. Also, not too oily which I appreciated. Good tuna - just not incredible for the price. I received an incentive to write this review.

Pantry favorite
Like everyone, I'm constantly trying to meet my protein goals. Having a stack of this incredible tasting tuna ready to go in my pantry has been the perfect solve. My favorite quick recipe is mixing it in with some garbanzo beans and baby tomatoes. Or, eating it direct from the can works great too in a pinch.

This is the perfect lunch, snack and my 7-year old daughter always wants to pack it in her lunch. Perfectly simple and salted.

Some darn good tuna a must buy
This was such a yummy tuna in olive oil. I always get my tuna in oil and this tin of tuna did not disappoint! The tuna was flaky and not dry at all. I mixed it in some rice and siracha and ate it with seaweed for a delicious quick meal. I absolutely love this brand of canned fish and cannot wait to eat more. It is a perfect portion of really good tin tuna and I am so happy that target carries this! Will be ordering more asap! I received an incentive to write this review.

Tasty Tuna and Adorable Packaging
I really have enjoyed this fishwife albacore tuna. This version is packed in oil which helped contribute to a very rich and buttery flavor. The texture was excellent. As you can see, the tuna was quite perfectly chunky and flaked quite nicely. Independent of flavor and quality, I love the packaging. This would be a perfect addition to a gift basket. The box is just so adorable. I received an incentive to write this review.

hugh quality tuna tastes like tuna
this canned fish wife tuna is a great source of protein. the packaging is pretty. the can was honestly a bit hard to open. the tuna looks and tastes slightly better than cheaper mass produced tuna. i trust their practices and i like the story. it tastes like tuna in oil though which just will never be my favorite but i will eat because it is healthy and easy and convenient I received an incentive to write this review.

Really yummy and high quality tuna
I thought this tuna was amazing quality. You could just tell that the fish was fresh and of the highest grade for tuna. I liked the flavor and considered it probably the best tasting canned tuna I've had, but it is not as high in protein as other kinds I've tried. I'm not sure what the reasoning would be for that. Overall I was very happy with it! I would definitely buy it again . I received an incentive to write this review.

The best canned tuna you will ever eat
I have become somewhat of a canned tuna fish snob. My husband fishes for fresh tuna so he set the bar high when I eat it from any other source. Fishwife Albacore Tuna in olive oil is legit the best tasting canned tuna fish I ever had. I was unfamiliar with this brand so to learn it’s pole and line hooked and hand canned in Spanish olive oil makes the difference. It’s worth paying a premium for quality tuna. It’s so good I ate it right out of the can. I received an incentive to write this review.

Delicious and sustainable
I was really intrigued when I saw this tuna at target since I had seen it on Shark Tank previously! I was curious as to why this particular tuna is priced so much higher than it’s competitors but after tasting it, I could easily see why. The olive oil they use is extremely smooth and decadent, which gives the tuna a really great flavor. They use more sustainable and kinder catching methods while supporting smaller fishermen in Italy so I feel better knowing that I’m spending more for a good reason and great tasting product. Highest quality olive oil makes the difference
The quality of the tuna was very good. White flaky tuna in a delicious mild and buttery olive oil. I made the tuna into two ways so I could see how it compares to others. I could eat it plain with sliced tomatoes or avocado and would be satisfied that I ate such a healthy and tasty meal. I also added mayonnaise and put on bread as a sandwich. This was also good since the oil made the mayo blend delicious. Price was high for amount you get 3.2 ounces. But if you want eating directly from can to fork. It would be worth it if your budget allows I received an incentive to write this review.

Pretty and delicious tuna
I'm not much of a tuna fan but my daughter loves it! I wish that I would had gotten it in a water base but the olive oil has a subtle taste to it and not too overpowering. The packaging is cute also. Great for a quick and healthy snack. Love that it's wild caught also and not farm raised. The cost for the can is a little on the higher priced side but again it's expected with wild caught tuna. I promise its worth it!
So yummy. I was a bit stuck at first if I should pay the extra money for a can of tuna because how different could it be? Very different. The tuna is perfect and so fresh. Game changer for your tuna fish sandwiches and is also so good you can just eat from the can!

Wonderfully buttery mild tasting tuna
My husband and I bought this tuna to share for lunch together, and we both agreed that it is very good high quality tuna. It has a wonderfully buttery texture and can be enjoyed straight out the can like we had it, with some crackers. The high quality olive oil adds flavor without overpowering it. Our only dislike is that it is pricey for the amount you get and so for us this would be an occasionally treat and not our go to tuna. However, it’s certainly worth trying!
