Kichler Lighting Alkire 3 - Light Semi-Flush Mount in Brushed Nickel

Great looking light fixture. Excellent price. I installed it myself. A little tricky getting the third arm connected. I would recommend this fixture.

This light is part of a total kitchen remodel. It looks fabulous, a bit edgy and contemporary, without being the center of attention. It provides great light for a section of the kitchen that is hard to light. Taking the shade off is a bit tricky but so worth it for the look it brings to the room.

The fixture is gorgeous! Really adds a special touch to my kitchen. I will note that it looks smaller when installed than you might think. That's typical of things hung up on a ceiling which I knew and yet it still surprised me. ??

The light is of good build quality and I receive multiple compliments on it. The finishes are also of good quality. The frosted glass looks even and not blotchy.

This light is perfect in my newly remodeled kitchen.

As I opened and saw the brushed nickel frame, i loved it and it gives out such a luxurious feel to it and looks so durable. The satin etched glass is so nice and helps create the ambient lighting. This is so easy to install and so beautiful to look at and adds such a character and a perfect touch in our hallway. Probably the best light fixture we have.

We recently updated the main bathroom and replaced the overhead light with this one. It looks great! It totally updated the whole look of the bathroom and matches well with all the other brushed nickel hardware in the room. The directions for installation were clear to follow and we were able to get it up pretty quick. We have 10 foot ceilings and this light being semi flush was the perfect height. Overall I'm really happy with how great the quality of the light is and how nice it makes my bathroom look!

I love the brushed nickel finish and white etched glass. The design is whimsical and adds a lovely touch to and the perfect amount of light to the room which is nice and soft through the white glass. Everything you need to set up is in the box and installation was easy. This light would look lovely in just about any room in your home. I'm very happy with my Alkire 3 Light Semi Flush Brushed Nickel light.

It’s looks prefect in my bedroom but I think it would work well in any medium size room. It comes is instructions on how to install it, but if your not comfortable please have a professional, friend or family member do it for you. It was a definite upgrade with it unique design. It’s sturdy and well made. I would recommend this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I have heavy and fancy fixture in kitchen island area I was looking a light fixture which is simple and elegant that I want to fix it in the space between family room and kitchen. I was looking for a fixture which is simple not too over fancy and heavy. This fixture is the perfect one. The nickel brushing gave nice highlighted look to it. It totally matched with kitchen island fixture. It gives a nice sleek look and well designed piece. Me and my husband fixed it in just 30 min. Assembling and installing is just an easy job. We followed the user manual provided. It made the task very easy. Bulbs were not provided so had to arrange them. It needs 3 bulbs. This fixture with three bulbs gives enough light in that area. The quality of the fixture is very high. This fixture gives the premium look. Very much impressed with performance wise and quality wise. This is a beautiful fixture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] * The product was packed well. The delivery person dropped the package onto our porch from a height of about three feet. When we opened the box, all parts were intact. * Instructions were somewhat vague, especially in descriptions of steps for variations in installation. * I recommend test-fitting parts together on a table in order to understand how they fit. This will make installation easier when you are in an awkward position near the ceiling. * Save parts from the old fixture, if applicable. I found that the new mounting plate screws did not fit the old electrical box. I was able to re-use the screws from the original mounting bracket. * Electrical installation was the easiest part. I connected the ground wire first and allowed the vertical post to dangle while I made the black and white wire connections. * Screw in the bulbs before attaching the glass shade. This will avoid awkwardness trying to screw in the bulbs after the shade is attached. * I recommend mounting and tightening one of the arms first, then hooking the shade over the arm. Then hook the remaining arms over the lower frame and screw them to the canopy. * The mounting screws for the shade are smooth and do not have a screwdriver slot. Since they are very close to the ceiling, it is somewhat difficult to tighten them securely. Take your time with this, lifting the glass shade to relieve pressure on the knobs while turning. * I used three 100W equivalent LED bulbs. The fixture produces a lot of light, well diffused by the glass shade. From underneath, you can see three brighter spots through the shade, but the bulbs themselves and the supporting fixture is not visible. Overall, installation was easy and the result was a bright and effective light for our kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light looks fantastic in my kitchen. It's just the right size and having three bulbs puts out a decent amount of light. It was fairly easy to install the bracket but putting the bowl on was a bit more of a pain than the instructions initially made it out to be. Due to the angle of the hooks you'll have to take one hook off the base and hook the other two then put the third hook back in. It's a bit tedious but doable by yourself.
