Hated it - returning it
I could never get the remote app to connect to the device - it could find it, but then it just circled until it timed out and told me to start over. I tried probably 15 times. It should come with its own remote, but since the app could not connect, we could not balance the speakers. Returning it this weekend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not impressed. With it having 2 side speakers which unfortunately are wired, the sound is not to surround. You cannot control the remote preset sound effects with the TV, you have to do it on the Vizio app. No instructions included you have to download them.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a decades long Visio customer who recently purchased a Visio 5.1 sound system similar to on it’s replacing. Unfortunately the cabling is not compatible with my 10 year old Visio TV. I’m having to jump through hopes just to get it working. The Visio app works great though.

Visio 5.1works good

My only concern is that it doesn't have a remote control to use it with another bluetooth devices and it keep on all the time. I bought it to connect a non Visio TV and it work great. it's compatible with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the price point at the time. Returned the 1st one due to tech problems. New one loses connection with its subs and side speakers often causing a reboot often. Sound is ok for the price. It's not in a main room of the house so it's fine.

doesn't work with my tv . installed the Vizio app and all it wanted to do was sell.me stuff. the chat bot is useless never did get it working. packed it back up and put it in closet. when I get a chance I'll hard wire it to the speakers

Could be great - but it just is not.
The Good: - Setup is easy - Connected without issue to cell (to manage it) and TV - Features (Dolby Atmos, sub, bluetooth, wireless connection to sub) - Price The Bad: - They made it so "smart" that it doesn't work -- In certain videos, when there is silence, the silence ends and you miss the first half-second of whatever is being said. You wouldn't think this is a big deal - but with certain videos, those little segments of silence happen a lot and there are a lot of words that you miss. - Customer Support -- They're nice. But they don't really care about the issue. I went through all of the troubleshooting and they just want to replace with a warranty replacement. OK, great. Same model, same config? Yes. So it will likely do the exact same thing. I will come back and eat these words if they send me the same model and it works - but I don't see it happening. I can reproduce this over and over and I've now seen reddit posts explaining the same issue. This sound bar must use some "efficient" sound compression or power saving that ends up ruining the product. - Firmware? No. There are no updates to this setup. There is no listing on thier support site for what the current version of firmware is for the product. You enter the S/N and it just gives you a message saying "null" (nothing) Conclusion: I wouldn't buy. It really does have the potential to be a good system. But if they're not REALLY going to support it, with updated firmware, investigate issues internally, and work with the customer to let them enjoy the product they purchased.... Why?
