Shattered immediately in my child’s hands with just orange juice. The glass is too thin. This is not safe.

I followed the instructions to only hand wash the glass, I only used it once with cold liquid, then when cleaning it the second time it shattered right in the sink.

The lid is a blue wood and the straw is a nice solid plastic. The cup itself is glass. Having a cute cup to drink out of helps bring a little bit of happiness to my day and this cup definitely helps with that. It is such a good quality for the price and I would definitely recommend it. You wouldn’t be able to tip the cup upside down to test for leakage, but it does have a seal around the ring of the lid. Glass tumblers are always concerning for me with kids, but these hold up to the test. I love the design of the straw, the curve at the bottom makes it easy to get every last drop from your cup. The straw is plastic but hard enough to not bend. The lid is wooden with a plastic trim to ensure a tight fit. Water or ice tea or lemonade would be great in this little glass and it would be safe from bugs too. The whole thing is hand wash only but that’s expected with the design and wooden elements .
