I gave this doll to my daughter for Christmas; she's ten years old. She loves it, plays with it constantly, and I bought it with the Fabulous Fun Vanity Set. She hasn't stopped playing with it; it's her first Our Generation doll, simply amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful doll! The detail in her eye color is really cool. I love that her eyes close when lying down, and I love that she has "real" lashes instead of painted on. She is wearing a very cute outfit including underwear (this is important to my child lol). So it's actually so maybe separate pieces: headband, shoes, underwear, pants, shirt, vest! Some items are attached with plastic fasteners but they can be snipped easily if desired. It seems they are attached to keep the item from falling off in the package. The doll fits other similar dolls clothing/shoes. The hair is styled in the photo as down and loose other than the headband, but it is banded in a cute ponytail style to keep it neat in the box. There is a little instruction pamphlet for caring for doll hair as well. Her hair is rooted, so it really should only be styled with a center part, but it's full and thick enough to style different ways within that limitation. The ends are pretty uneven, but it's long enough to withstand a trim and still be super long. She can stand on her own and sits with legs in a moderate straddle. Some dolls almost have to do the splits to sit, so it's nice she can sit more realistically. She appears very well made and has a soft body. My 12 Year old still plays with dolls but appreciates them differently than she did at 4. She loves the detail in her eyes and how soft and silky her hair is. Overall, this is a beautiful and special doll, great quality. Highly recommend.

The eyes open and close as you move her, shes a great size for a doll and the amount of accessories you can buy for these dolls is INSANE. They have all kinds of different looking dolls and of all complexions which is great that way girls all around can experience these adorable dolls. I wish Our Generation dolls were around when I was a little girl! I'll be gifting Miss Emmie to my God daughter and I just know she's going to love her!
