Q: Is there an easier way to fill this thing up? I have to hold the hose at the hole for like 30 minutes. I wish it had an adapter like the sprinkler side.

Whoever designed this should lose their job and never design a toy again. A single use of this thing wouldve told anyone with a functioning brain that it is literal garbage. It takes about 100 gallons of water to fill and weighs 500 lbs when it does. The hose doesn't connect cleanly to either port. Literal garbage, should be illegal to sell.
Awesome if you're not easy to complain.

This is something we use almost daily and us adults and the children love it! Sure, it takes time to fill up, and sure, it uses a lot of water. But what do people expect with something this size that requires running water for the sprinkler? Don’t fill it up entirely and it still works wonderful. Remember, negative people are far more likely to review than positive people. None of these problems are a big deal.
Fun, but hard to manage

I have mixed feelings on this one. My kids (6 & 11) do like it a lot. We have a small yard and they use it kind of like a slip and slide. BUT it’s a pain to fill and empty. You have to just accept that you will get soaked trying to fill it. There is no way to hold the hose in place, so you have to hold it the whole time you’re filling it… Which takes at least 30 minutes. Emptying it also took me a long time and I had to kind of jump on it and push the water out. I’m pretty sure I didn’t even get it all out. Because we have it on grass, I can’t leave it inflated for more than a few days. It is super heavy when it’s full and it can’t be moved from place to place in order to prevent the grass from getting messed up under it. Given those limitations, it is a fun toy, but there may be easier options. I got it on a 50% off sale. I am glad I didn’t pay full price.
Fill it with water.

Impossible to move with all the water in it. You have to drain the water out every time. Cute idea but in reality not great.
Fun but not perfect.

The kids had so much fun! It wasn't too bad to fill up once I realized there was a hole on the bottom too, also getting my hose to stick was a little challenging at first but after I just checked on it every 20/30 min until filled the sprinkler didn't work great with my hose but enough that the kids still had a blast sliding and jumping all over, even more so then the blow up slide we have. Other parents were asking where to get it.

i don’t know why everyone is complaining about how long it takes to fill. not everything needs to be done in a rush. it’s worth the wait, and it’s awesome for Mom time tanning or the kids to lay on and get sprinkled. sometimes the fun just takes a little more time to set up and that’s OK!
Love it!

We buy one every summer and my kids get so much play out of it. Yes, you do need a thinner attachment to your hose to fill it up. But once it's filled as long as you don't have to move it you don't have to fill it again. They play in the sprinklers and then sometimes put blankets on it for a soft water bed hang out. Love it!

This thing requires the most unhinged amount of water, it's so unnecessary. I would return it if I could. If you do buy it, don't bother filling with water it takes forever and uses so much water.

Awful water blob. Have to stand there and hold water hose nozzle to fill entire blob. This needed to be designed with a hose adapter. This is a waste of water time and MONEY!
Once filled, this toy is fun. But at what parental cost??

Neighborhood kids had a blast. But I bought in-store and didn’t look at reviews. If I had, I would have known that you have to fill the whole base with water- a ton of it. And worse… the valve is more for a dang air mattress pump, not a standard hose (or any hose). The sprinkler feature works with a hose. But to fill the “blob” you have to sit there for an hour or more and manually hold the hose in place. Really bad design guys. I wish I could get my money back, just because there’s no way I’m gonna sit here and fill it with that much water, carefully guiding it, every time.
Great product, unfair reviews

Yes, you have to hold the hose to fill it up. I sat in a chair and played on my phone with one hand and held it with the other, took about 30 minutes to fill. I bought it for my 3.5 year old son and his cousins (ages 3-9). The 9 year old weighs about 170 pounds and it held him just fine. They had a BLAST on this thing. They played on it for hours and were back out the next morning to play on it. It’s a total PITA to fill but once it’s filled it’s done and it’s a huge hit with all the kids. Totally worth it, people just dont want to take time fill it so they’re giving it low reviews which is unfair because this product is awesome.

Don't buy this! I should have listened to all the reviews. We had the previous version, but, unfortunately I didn't realize, my husband gave it away in a massive garage clean out sweep. I got desperate on this scorching hot day, after I had already promised my daughters I'd bring it out, and figured it was fine to grab this one. They cheaply replaced the water valve leaving out the water hose grooves that the previous version allowed you to twist in to fill the base. It would still took an hour to fill but at least the hose fit. Even if I held this new one for the entire hour my hose still wouldn't fit, water was coming out just as fast as filling in. In an attempt to widen the valve, I accidentally sliced the actual blob, now it's a complete loss. Leaving this bad review of my horrible experience is the only glimmer of satisfaction I received from this waste of a water blob.
Takes over an hour to fill, had a hole from the get go

There was no good way to fill the blob. I had to hold the hose at just the right angle, and if it moved even slightly, I was sprayed with water. Took almost 2 hours to fill, the "sprinkler" didn't spray the water in the correct direction, so it was just watering the yard. And if all these things aren't reason enough to give it a 1 star, a spot that I thought was just a crease from being folded, was apparently a tiny hole. 0/10, do not recommend. Hoping to get my money back and get something that the kids can actually use.
So disappointing

It has no way to keep the hose connected while it’s filling up so you have to hold the hose at a certain angle the ENTIRE time it’s filling up which takes about an hour. The sprinkler part where the hose connects sprays water everywhere and you then have to hold the hose at a certain angle the entire time again. So unless you feel like hunching over to hold a hose the entire time you are using it, I don’t recommend it.
Not worth it

This took forever to fill up. There is no way to attach the hose to the hole so plan on lots of time spent trying to steadily hold the hose to the entrance by hand. Talking 30+ minutes. Thought it could work to practice sliding for baseball/ softball but a standard slip and slide would have worked much better. Got it for $20 and that’s the only saving grace about it - we are using it once and it didn’t break the bank.
