It just smells clean. I liked the idea of a bonding protein but unfortunately it did not work for me. I have natural 4b-4c hair and I don’t see any difference in my hair to be honest. This brand has a tendency of making my hair more dry and knotted.

I don't have a ton of damage to my hair, but this has such a great ingredient list and a great amount of protein that it works amazing for my long, thick non treated hair! My hair felt amazing while I was still in the shower and hadn't even conditioned it yet! It smells absolutely divine, the texture is perfect. The results are the best! I even ended up buying the rest of the products in this line. I highly recommend this! If you have damaged hair or not, this is amazing! Oh! And it's affordable and available anywhere! What more could you ask for?

OGX is a more budget friendly option and works just as well. It rinses clean and doesn’t leave a cast or film on hair when dry. The shampoo/conditioner combo helps to give my hair body and plumps my strands a bit to help keep style…my hair is thin so I’ll take all the body I can without being weighed down with product.

This product left my hair feeling so soft as I was washing. I saw my curls spring back to life as I brushed and styled. Barely any frizz and my curls were looking defined. So glad to have tried this product out.

I tried this entire line because they were on sale at my grocery store and I have used OGX products in the past and liked them. This line is awful. It smells good when you open the bottle but actually on the scent is so strong it makes me want to throw up. The formulas for EVERYTHING including the heat protectant WEIGH your hair down! I have extremely thick hair and I can usually go 3-4 days without washing but with these products my hair feels greasy right after showering. I’m sorry but I should have stuck to my old routine. Stupid me for wanting to try something new.

I’d been waiting to try something that felt a little luxurious, something that would actually do something for my hair (heal it, soften it, etc). But honestly, after using it for over a month, I’m not impressed. It smells kind of harsh like chemicals, just sort of synthetic and weird. I love when my hair smells good after a wash, and this just… doesn’t do that. As far as results go, my hair doesn’t feel any different. No extra shine, no real “repair” that I can tell. It just feels like a regular shampoo. It gets the job done but that’s about it. I wouldn't say it's bad, but for something that promises this much, it really didn’t deliver. Just your standard, nothing-special shampoo.
