    YOU MUST BUY YOUR CHILD AN OMIE BENTO BOX.

    I brought an OMIE bento box not to long ago and it keeps my food warm for a very long time i love it and cant wait to be able to purchase another one thank you so much OMIE.

    Rubber seal defective

    Waterproof rubber seal doesn’t stay in the box grooves even after following the installation instructions. It’s really inconvenient and makes me not want to use the box.

    Not dishwasher friendly

    I think this was more of an influencer buy than a well researched one on my end so that’s on me. But didn’t realize there would be so many parts to this kit that all neee to be hand washed! More than any other lunch box we’ve used. Yes the hot compartment is nifty and keeps food warm but the inserts, the sealer lining, all need to be hand washed. Unfortunately we don’t have time to do that every night or prefer not to.

    My preschooler loves her “munch box”!

    This box is durable Pk proof!! It is nice to send food I know she will eat. She absolutely loves it! I have packed chicken nuggets and she told me the were cooled down enough to eat. I was very impressed how warm it keeps her lunch.

    Think Twice

    It’s okay, the idea is good in theory, but there are too many pieces to clean. I’ve only had it six weeks and already need a replacement seal because of mold, even though we wash it daily. With shipping costs for a replacement part and the hassle of assembling and disassembling all the parts every day, I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’m considering just taking the loss and switching to a stainless steel lunchbox. Spending money like this also has to match the value of my time.

    The best lunch box!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one for my son when he started at his little school when he was 1 year old. Now he is about to turn 3 and we still use the same one! I love that I can send him a hot meal with fruits and other snacks all in one place. Been able to clean it on the dishwasher makes my life easier as well 😊 It is no doubt the best lunch box!

    Great purchase

    We love this product. I was a bit skeptikal because my son recently tirned 8. However he got tored of the lunchables and sandwiches every day! He is able to eat almost anything from this Omie box. I actually asked him: " is your food still warm?" and he replied " yes mom!"

    OVERPRICED GARBAGE

    $50 GARBAGE. The box collected soapy inside and was leaking out into food. I was sent a replacement box (just the box, no seal, nothing else) by Omie, and the seal doesn't fit so my kid doesn't have a lunchbox today. I'm past the Target return window and Omie won't refund me either. Don't waste your money on this overpriced garbage.

What you’re describing (water collecting inside the shell) typically happens when the box is run through the dishwasher, which can allow water to enter the insulated cavity.     Safest and practical lunch box for kids. Best customer service!

    We purchased our Omie plus accessories summer 2024 in preparation for our daughter's first day of school. She's been using it for over 1.5 years, now in first grade. Recently we had a part crack and we reached out to Omie. And within 12 hours we had a tracking number with a free part en route, including a how to video. This is hands down the best customer service and warranty process one could ever ask for. It's operated by a mother, small team, and you feel the passion (and compassion) they have for us, their customers and our children. If you want to give your child the best, this is it. If you want hassle free resolutions of any issues related to the product because we're busy adulting, learning to be the best parents to our kids, then this is the company to buy from.

    Finally a lunch box with a built in thermos option

    I often do leftovers, pasta, or frozen foods heated up in my kids lunches and having to switch back and forth between a thermos and extra containers and then the bento was becoming a pain. If I have a non thermos item I can still use the Omie and so it has become the only lunch container I need. It also has enough compartments for the snack as well. Love the handle! My kid is 10 but I like this one the best. Also although it's not dishwasher safe-it's much easier to clean than the bento because it is all one part so easy to spray out and wipe clean. Thanks Omie!

    Cute but not hot

    I love the look of this lunchbox but the thermos section does not keep anything at all warm by lunch and my kids complain. I prep it with hot water according to the instructions. Such a shame. I usually just use it for cold sandwiches.
