[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using WetBrush products a few years ago and the brushes have become my favorite for detangling my hair without too much breakage. I like that they fuwork well on both dry and wet hair. The mini detangler brush that I was sent is cute and compact. It can easily fit into a tote bag or purse. The brush is good for the gym or to have on hand for whenever you should need it. I honestly thought the mini brush was going to perform better at detangling, but I found it lacking compared to the larger full size brushes. While the bristles are soft and better suited for fine, straight hair, they bend too easily and can warp. I have finer, curly hair and I had more difficulty detangling with this brush than I do with my other brushes. I couldn't even get it through my hair when dry. The brush kept getting caught and I couldn't keep a grip on it. Disappointing for a brush that is specifically made for detangling. From prior experience, I think the brushes with the flexible open back design work far better than the cushion based ones. I would use this in a pinch for travel, if I didnt have any other brush options, but this one is pretty much a no for me.

Even though it’s a mini, I use it everyday as I don’t have fine hair. And the size is a plus, as I can carry it in my bag and use it on the go. This one has literally replaced my big old hair brush!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave 4 stars cuz while it does work overall very well in terms of gently combing out knots in the hair, it doesn't go through the hair totally which leaves some of the under hair not brushed until you comb it several times to get the underside of hair. The bristles are very thin and bendable, which is mostly good but means they aren't strong enough to brush all the hair in the brush at once, meaning it only reaches the front layers of the hair. That's not a big deal to me, as the bristles being more bendable offers less breakage to the hair strands, which matters most to me. The mini size of it isn't the most convenient unless you're traveling etc. Overall, I'm a fan if you're looking mostly for breakage-free hair combing.

Best hair brush for tangles

I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like taking the time to clean your brushes, as the wet brush seems to like lint and are more difficult to clean. Other than that, I love these brushes, they make my hair so soft!

The mini size is adorable, lightweight and convenient, making it the perfect fit for my on the go lifestyle. I have type 1A hair, which is extremely straight. It tends to tangle easily. This brush makes detangling quick and easy. It works beautifully when my hair is wet or dry. I also appreciate that the design helps reduce static, which does help eliminate frizz. My fiance has thick hair, and he loves the Wet Brush too. He keeps snagging mine. Its lightweight feel, compact size, and sleek design make the Wet Brush Mini Detangler a great option for keeping my hair smooth and tangle free wherever I go. Detangles hair easily with no fuss
