Q: Serious Question... Is this for Caucasian hair too? Looked up best gel for fine hair and this came up but all videos are of African American women?

A: White guy here with very fine hair. Considering the price, this is the best gel ever. Super cheap and holds well without that crunchy feeling. My wife is mixed and she uses it too...that’s how I first found out about it. Never thought we could ever share products.

Q: is it silicon,paraben,alcohol,preservative,and sulfate free?i keep trying to see the label on the website and it won't show me all the ingredients.it only shows me the inactive ingredients.

This is such a great hair gel that my husband and I both use it. My hair is thick and wavy, this gel is amazing for taming the frizz and accentuating the waves at the same time. It's unscented. It comes in a huge container for a really low price. We use either the olive oil or argan oil version depending on what's available when we restock.

Starting with positives, it doesn’t leave a white cast or oily hair situation, but doesn’t give the strong hold that I expected. I tried using it for a dance bun, and the hairs were sticking out.

We use this gel for dance team. It doesn’t have the hold power of some others we’ve tried, but it holds well enough. It is definitely better for her hair than anything else we’ve tried. Her hair is soooo much healthier using this gel. My daughter’s hair is really curly and it gets damaged and breaks easily. THIS PRODUCT DOES THE JOB WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE!! Couldn’t be happier!

To the curly girls that have been using this specific product for years of wash and goes, and slick ponies… NEW FORMULA DOES NOT WORK LIKE IT USED TO!!! It no longer feels thick, more like a water type of texture when applied. Also your hair WILL flake and frizz immediately after application. I’ve been using this gel for years, but no longer will be purchasing. I am so disappointed.

This doesn’t seem to do what we were hoping it to do. It kind of leaves hair wet but never actually seems to dry down to hold hair in place. Maybe it’s the olive oil but didn’t help for dance comp hair. Switched back to the Garnier gel instead for a stronger hold.

This was my favorite product for years but the new formula is terrible. The gel is very slimy but it leaves my hair completely limp and dried out. Absolutely NO hold!!! I've switched to the Garnier pure clean styling gel as it's the best replacement I've found.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!! Will make your hair fall out. DO NOT BUY. Read up on this product. It thinned out my hair so much and I even have a patch on my left side the size of 3 fingers missing. I have to use hair powder now to fix it when I do my hair to go to work or go out. It’s so embarrassing and has knocked my confidence in such a big way I’ve started talking to my therapist about it. It’s affected my relationship bc I don’t want him touching my hair or looking at me too much bc I get self conscious. Only change in my hair care was this product and after my research I found out I wasn’t the only one. Returned my last purchase immediately and have started taking vitamins and rosemary oil and medical laser and have a year long recovery ahead.
