These run extremely small. Not just because they shrink in the wash, the sizing is just straight up inaccurate. You would have to size up 2 sizes for this to fit.

These ran very small in the waist so I returned. Would size up.

SIZE UP! These shorts are SO cute!! I’m normally a size 4/5 and went with a size 8! They fit perfectly! I’m about 5’3 and 133 pounds.

These are so incredibly cute but I knew as soon as I took them out of packaging they were not going to fit. The sizing on these is awful. I am a 14 in Universal Thread and bought these true to size since I almost always buy shorts at the beginning of summer from this brand. These were at least 2-3 sizes too small. They do advertise no stretch but still they should at least get over my thighs and they did not. not sure if when I return if ill go up a few sizes because they are so cute or just return.

The color and design of these is adorable but I’m so disappointed at how tight and rigid they run. I’m usually size 2-4 , closer to 4 though and these fit in the legs and butt like a small size 2 I’d say. I don’t think it’s even worth sizing up for me in this case so I’m going to return. Definitely seem like they’re ideal for slim with no curves. I like short-shorts but my butt cheeks are coming out of these so a definite no go 👎🏼

They don’t stretch so my size is super tight

These are probably the worst shorts I’ve ever tried on, and I own many pairs of shorts by Universal Thread. I am normally a 2 in Universal Thread jean shorts- 5’6, 127 lbs. I read reviews that said to size way up, so I bought a 6. They were way too tight and made me feel so fat! They squeezed the life out of my thighs and are so short, my cheeks hung out. A big nope for me!!

They are cute and I bought them without trying them on in store (dressing room was closed!). They run small so I did go up a size so the waist was perfect, but even so, the middle of the back rides up your butt crack which isn’t cute. I am returning ASAP!

Cute but the back is too short my cheeks are showing. 5 2 120pd got a sz, wide hips and it's just so short I look ridiculous so I didn't keep them

Are the sizes wrong? It’s super small, I usually use 6, it didn’t even close a 10, it will look good on me. It’s not stretch.

These shorts are exactly what I was looking for! I'm between 0-2 in size and im 5'2 and 120lbs. I bought size 2 and they fit perfectly. I would classify them as more of a size 1. I hope that helps anyone that is around my size.

These are just awful. I don’t know why we’re trending away from stretch, but it seems it’s the new “new”. As such these are horribly stiff and don’t get me started on the sizing. I’m a 0 or a 2 pretty religiously but I purchased a 2 and a 4 and both were ill fitting and snug. The style is cute but nothing about the execution on these shorts is a win.

I have 4 Universal Thread cuttoffs from previous years and I love them. They're getting worn so I ordered a new pair. I have worn a 6 or an 8 previously. This year's cuttoffs with a button fly are an odd cut. Try them on first is my recommendation.

In theory, these are cute shorts. They fit about 2, maybe even 3 sizes too small and have absolutely no stretch or movement to them. They seem like they are more for looks and to be cute for a couple hours, not to actually wear and walk around. They also ride up your rear end. For reference, I’m about a 2-4 in most denim shorts and I had to get a 6 in these and probably could have even gotten an 8.

Love the color! They fit well (but run small IMO). I am normally a 12 and got a 14 for a little more room. I’m 5’8 and the length is perfect for a “short shorts.”

Pleas size up. I’m a size 6 and had to size up to a 12 because of the butterfly buttons.
