Q: Would it be possible to leave off the two glass doors and shelves in the bottom center and put an electric fireplace insert into the bottom center of this entertainment center?

A: Hi, you can also choose to install it without the glass doors and shelves. This will not affect the overall use, the size of this area is 12.5 ‘D*26.2 “W*19.1 ”H.
