What a page-turner!-Eden Kelsey and her husband both become targets after Eden witnesses a co-worker's murder, but their physical safety is just half of the battle. Eden's pregnancy and Zach's uncertainty about being a father may be a conflict they can't overcome! Author Terri Reed delivers a compelling story filled with nail-biting suspense, page-turning adventure, and heartwarming romance! It is a realistic portrayal of two people thrust into danger, struggling to stay alive, and fighting to save their marriage. Reed's depiction of their fears, doubts, and uncertainties is spot on, and she's also created a crafty villain! Having a baby should be filled with happiness and excitement, but Eden's joy is overshadowed by Zach's reluctance to confide in her. Why is Zach so opposed to being a father? I recommend Standing Watch to fans of romantic Christian suspense. I received a copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review.

Somehow a routine check of the park puts Eden Kelcey in danger when she happens to witness a murder. What follows is a story of non-stop attempts to kill her as well. Her estranged husband, Zach, is a sheriff’s deputy K-9 officer who is tasked with keeping her safe while others try to catch the murderer. Surprising news causes both Eden and Zach to consider whether their relationship really cannot be salvaged. Will Zach finally be able to share what he has been hiding all this time? Every time law enforcement thinks they have finally got the perpetrator, something else happens. This story will keep you reading right up to the end as you hope for the renewal of the relationship between Eden and Zach and the end of the reign of terror in Eden’s life.
