This story nabbed me from the very beginning, and I became so engrossed in it that I did not put it down until I turned the last page! The fast-paced plot boasts non-stop action and riveting suspense. I love the true-to-life Mount Rushmore setting expertly captured by the author. The well-crafted cast of characters, headed by estranged couple Eden and Zach Kelcey, is memorable and compelling. K-9 Amber stole the show with her wonderfully exciting scenes! The romantic tension and chemistry between Eden and Zach kept me hoping for a reconciliation. A secondary storyline involving the Dakota Gun Task Force's weapons trafficking case adds depth and interest to the story. I totally enjoyed this notch romantic suspense story and highly recommend it. I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher with no obligation to post a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
