First off thank you to NetGalley, Berkley Publishing, and Brittany Kelley for the ARC. This is not my first book by her and I have to say all her books are so good! One of my favorite authors!

Thank you Berkley Romance and Brittany for the eARC! One thing you must know about me, if Brittany Kelley writes it, you best believe ima read it! It has it all- •fake dating to revenge dating •spicy •romantic comedy •grumpy x chaotic sunshine •how to lose a guy in 10 days meets Ted lasso I love Brittany and her sports era. She never fails to make us feel all the feels while reading a fun care free book. This is the perfect comedy, romance, spicy mix all combined into one. Abigail was an absolute fun time. Luke….oh Luke the man you are. This book grabs you in a chokehold and doesn’t let go to the very end. Brittany…love you never disappoint.

If you know who Roy Kent is, you now know the personality of our MMC, Luke Wolfe. Luke is a star soccer player who is prickly and even a little mean. But he's also funny and blunt & the banter between him and Abigail is spot on. Abigail is weird and quirky and I kind of loved it! Miscommunication always frustrates me but there were some hilarious scenes because of it! 🦞 This was a cute, light-hearted, and funny story that went from Ted Lasso vibes to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days!

Brittany Kelley never fails to make me bust a gut. Yo-Yo Ma, Smeagol, Pilates. I started and finished this book within 24 hours, which should tell you that this is gooooood. The banter is spectacular and the chemistry between the MCs is *chefs kiss*. Abigail is neurospicy in a way that speaks to my soul, and I so loved being able to relate to her in that way. Lucas was gruff and grumpy, but soft and squishy in the most delightful ways. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, revenge-fueled hijinks and cute foster kittens.

I absolutely love this trad debut of Brittany Kelley’s. Abigail and Luke are like if you took Roy Kent and (a little bit of) Keeley Jones and put them in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It is the perfect mixture of funny, sweet, and spicy. All of the supporting characters add to this incredible book. It touches on mental health and neurodivergent brains so accurately. You can tell Brittany put so much heart and research into this book. SUCH a great summer read!!

Luke and Abigail meet while being set up by his soccer team's owners. He is being blackmailed into dating her and she wants to crack through his grumpy exterior. I loved that Abigail was kind of quirky and not your "typical" put together gal. Luke was a closed off type of person, but Abigail's sunshine broke through his exterior. The plot was basic, but I liked their interactions. The character development was good and I felt like I got to know each of the main characters. Thank you for the copy, this is my honest opinion. Please be aware of any trigger warnings, as your mental health is most important.

I literally haven’t laughed this hard because of a book… ever. Brittany Kelley ALWAYS has the funniest banter and snark - but she outdid herself this time and add in all the pop culture references and you’re going to be laughing out loud. I literally had to TRY and contain myself so I wouldn’t wake my husband up since it’s 1 AM and I could not put the book down. I LOVE characters who say what they’re thinking and have little filter - so Abigail I loved instantly. Pair her with a handsome, grumpy soccer player who unbeknownst to everyone else is actually just a big softie… and you have a recipe for an AMAZING romance and story. I loved Luke right away. I’m not sure how Brittany was able to make us fall in love so quickly with the characters but she did. The story moves quickly and although the characters are witty and say hilarious things…. There is still so much depth to them and we get to see them dealing with some difficult things - ie anxiety, past relationship trauma, sick family members, etc - and it makes them so much more relatable. I honestly already cannot wait to reread this story. I’ll never be able to hear or think Yo Yo Ma or Gollum again without laughing - IYKYK!

This book gives off Ted Lasso vibes with the soccer theme. I loved the nostalgia feel of “How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days” this book gave. I mean, who didn’t love this movie?!? The theme of this book matches up great when Luke (the intimidating and grumpy soccer star) is bribed into dating Abigail by his bosses, but also Abigail (the outspoken, quirky actress) finds out her boyfriend is only fake dating her and plans to get even. Overall, I liked and definitely had me laughing. I could have done with some parts like the Gollum scene. To me it was a lil cringe. You’ll know it when you get to it

I love Brittany Kelley’s writing and her trad pub debut is contemporary romance perfection. A grumpy soccer star. A sunshiny actress. He’s the picture of seriousness and control. She is chaotic, silly, and says whatever thought pops into her head. There is a fake dating situation that leads to the FMC giving “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days” vibes to try to end things. The relationship is so cute and sweet and spicy. I love the chemistry between Luke and Abigail. They bring out the best in each other and are a great example of how you can just be your weird self when you find the right person. While the book is light, fluffy, and romantic, it also tackles some serious issues, such as ADHD, anxiety, and issues within the world of professional sports. I could not stop reading Relationship Goals. I am really hoping that there is another book coming because there is definitely a couple brewing amongst the side characters in the story.
