I was a a bit surprised that it was as sheer as it ended up being but it works well on its own or as a top coat. The formula is everything I expect from Essie: ✔️ Smooth, even application ✔️ Quick drying with a glossy finish ✔️ Long-wearing — lasted 5 days with minimal chipping It works well alone or paired with other colors. Two quick coats is all you need. The price is a good value. This shade in Slushy Sun is going to be my go to for summer. It looks like the top coat of a French manicure. It's gives my nail a nice manicured look and it actually looks as though I have gel nails. The brush glides effortlessly and no streaks which is a major plus! I love that this color is buildable and you can also layer this polish. You can really achieve a salon-like manicure at home with this polish and it dries fast!

To get any kind of color required two coats, which is to be expected, but then it never truly dried and was very tacky. I tried it over other polish to give the polish a different hue and it still didn’t dry right. I don’t think I would use this again.

It’s the kind of color that’s easy to wear and goes with everything. I just wish it was a little more vibrant. It’s pretty, but I was hoping for a bit more punch from the color.
