    The ONLY shampoo I’ve tried in YEARS that gets rid of the buildup in my hair! Story time: i love to travel. My hair does not. I have moved around a bit. My hair hates this. Sensitive to water changes and has YET to adjust to Texas water after living here for 3 years, i had buildup in my thick hair constantly for 3+ years (except when i got a deep-clean at the salon) and every time i traveled. Neutrogena clarifying shampoo worked great but got discontinued. I was devastated. Then i saw an instagram ad for Gemz and decided to try it. Yall, i never write reviews but im telling you im so grateful for this shampoo—it’s the only thing that works!! Even my hairdresser noticed the difference! For me, I use it every time i wash my hair. It’s not too drying/harsh. The cost does add up, but it’s worth it to me. Sometimes i even cut those pads in half to get an extra wash out of them.

    Get this shampoo if you have a lot of time to waste

    Like be for real who designed this? I have 3A hair and I struggled getting it to coat all my strands of hair. It was a chunky uncomfortable mess. Took myself 15 minutes just to get it out. It’s like water repellent and does not suds up quickly. You have to really put in the effort. Also it dried my hair out so badly. If you have thick and semi textured to fully textured hair I do not recommend!!!

It takes a long time to rinse out, and even after washing my hair thoroughly, I still found small pieces of the product left behind. The concept is great and the packaging is super functional for travel, but the formula just wasn’t it for me.
