gemz Quick Blow Dry volume & body conditioner, color safe - 5ct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a unique concept for conditioner and I can definitely see it being a go to in certain situations. First, I love that this is travel friendly and will slide easily practically anywhere you have a bit of space. You can fit it in a wallet, pocket, carry on ect. Because it’s not liquid either, I don’t think it would be apart of the 3 fl oz restrictions for carry-one with TSA (but don’t quote me). This product would be great for backpacking trips, overnight stays, gym bags, or really any travel or place where you’d shower outside of your home. I also see this product being amazing for wellness kits for those living in shelters, foster kids and the homeless. For a day to day use at home I personally wouldn’t use these due to the amount of trash that it creates though. Using them is a bit of a learning curve also. I found the best way was to have a pocket of water in a cupped hand, add the towelette and then any areas that are still dry, splash water into it with your other hand. Once fully saturated, let sit in hand for 10-15sec then mix in hand. This gets all of the product wet, lets it saturate, and keeps it from having clumps. It also means most of the product is in your hand not down the drain. I do also think you could get away with cutting these if you have shorter hair. Even with hair to my belt line, I think the conditioner for one pack could have been two or three uses instead. As for how it smelt, the conditioner was more laid back in intensity but still had a more cleaning product/detergent smell to me though. My hair looked a lot better after washing than it does with my current product, but got oily faster. This could’ve been based on amount used, my hair adjusting, or various other reasons so take that with a grain of salt. Overall; I do like this product but for me it would be situation based for use due to the trash it creates and not needing it as a staple item in my day to day life. For travel or overnight stays I do think I would reach for these verses some of the other travel sizes options on the market.

I honestly think there's enough in one gem for two people. It left my hair feeling soft and manageable, and I noticed my hair dried a little faster than usual. It's super convenient, especially for busy mornings or on a trip. It's definitely a fun and effective product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not the biggest fan of this. Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of the product. I have very long thick hair (to my bottom) so there was in no way enough with one use. I also recently dyed my hair and had some bleeding. Not sure if it was specifically this product but has not happened with my regular products. The scent and packaging is good. This product did not work for me and was a lot of work and mess for me personally.

Although it was different and unique to just get a to get it wet and then you’re done. I think these would be great for travel so you don’t have to worry about liquid maximums and what not. I don’t think it would be something I would use on a regular basis though
